We have two servers running on Vilayer. The only issue we have with them is poor customer service. Their ticket system is the only method of contact and it can take not just hours, but a day or two for them to respond. We had a server down for 3 days because of it... and if they respond, and you reply to their response, it resets the ticket to the bottom of the pile. On a positive note, you can update your pbo's via admin console or ftp without having to unpack or pack them. You have direct access to the individual files inside the pbo files. The server handles all the packing/unpacking at restart.

Many new additions and we've gained some regular players who really like what's happening on this server. Great new base added on Mt Peligra and a new factory added east of Calamar. Upgraded to Lingor 1.3 so zombies attack vehicles and spawn while your inside vehicles/aircraft. And don't forget the Apaches and Little Birds! Glad you like Lingor... my favorite map too. Hopefully we can get a good number of players to join. Oh, I forgot to mention in the OP that it's hosted in Washington DC so US and UK players should be fine where ping is concerned. :)

Try the FogeyZ private hive... US east coast based with custom Chernarus map including loads of extra buildings and custom bases/camps. Over 100 vehicles, active admins, rollbacks when hackers get out of control and fun to play. Just search for FogeyZ... there is only one!

US late night players needed to join in the fun on the FogeyZ server. Find a base, commandeer it and protect it as your own from bandits and FogeyZ alike. Lots of new buildings and vehicles and bases and even camps in the woods with military barracks for quick looting (once you find them!). Bring it on peeps... let's play.

FogeyZ were at one time just a bunch of old farts who wanted to group up and play DayZ. While there are still those that shoot their mates in arse while giving blood and can't see far enough to kill a standing pig at 10 meters, there are those in the group that have matured beyond their ageless years and have become quite adept at banditry and will shoot on sight and never ask questions later. The FogeyZ server has loads of additional buildings all over the map and even custom bases that you can conquer and make your own... until someone comes along and takes it from you. Base warfare, banditry and some old folk who really suck but love to play the game are waiting at the FogeyZ server. Just search for FogeyZ and you can't miss it... see you there!

This server is great! Tons of added buildings and camps at NWAF and NEAF as well as new bases to assault, overtake and defend. Loads of fun and active admins with rollbacks when the hackers get too crazy. A must play for noobs and experts. See you there!

I'm on the US east coast and have no troubles playing with ping around 110-120. Come give it a shot... we had a great day of fun and follies yesterday. The server is going to 24/7 daytime starting tomorrow for a 7 day trial run to see how things go. Seem folk like to leave when the sun goes down so we're going to see how well a never sinking sun will keep the action rolling.

FogeyZ server is whitelisted again thanks to a recent hacker. So... easy enough to get whitelisted to play with us. Simply join the server. You will get kicked because you are not whitelisted. Then visit our forums here... http://fogeyz.co.uk/index.php?topic=259.0 and reply to that thread to request to be added to our whitelist. We'll add you to the list as soon as possible. Sorry for the slight hassle... it's worth the wait though!

Had a great time running around getting sniped and hacked with everyone today. Great group of people that play friendly even when they shouldn't and many times pay the price. It just sucked that we ended up playing on something like 4 different servers and got hacked on most of them. I think a private hive or maybe switching to Lingor Island for a trial run might help make it more enjoyable but in any case I still thoroughly enjoyed myself. You get to the point where dying is half the fun lol.

We saw your cries for help. Tried to get your location via shoutbox. Teamspeak is the way to go though. We can all talk to each other regardless of our location on the map.

Had a great time last night. We got daring and headed to NWA to loot and got a bit careless thinking we were the only ones on the server. Snipers nailed 2 of us and after a 30 minute server restart delay, the bandit got the rest of us lol. Then we had to deal with an italian hacker who eventually killed us all from different locations via teleport and god mode hacks. May want to consider a different base server and keep the server ID off the forums. We lost a ton of good gear... but had an exciting night for sure. lol

Friendlies are a rare find these days, especially on public servers. This guy would have made a good playing partner... hope you got his name and met up with him somewhere to pop a few zombies and bandits.
