bought friend ARMA: CO, pasted him my ARMA2 and ARMA CO folders into his common folder, attempted to launch ARMA2, got bad serial error deleted ClientRegistry.blob, still wont verify integrity, continues to ignore all the other files how can i make this work, i don't want to redownload everything i've tried using the search function on the forum, nothing specific - i made this work once months ago, its always a pain.

yeah so 1.7.1.5? i understand this is a step forward as far as balancing PVP, i have in the past murdered unsuspecting players wielding fully automatic weapons with the makarov. The bandages are a huge concern, standing in the middle of the medical tents in Balota holding a AK cobra and lots of supply, i was unfortunately struck *once* at the site and was struck once 3 hours earlier. this meant i was unable to do anything but give up and die, because i didn't have any bandages. it would be really great if there was a consistent source of medical supplies in one of those tents, say, in the shape of a white box, exactly like hospitals. oh and if we had a combat knife, we could "skin" corpses with clothing and then loot bandages from those. well, thats my feedback. it seems my home region and other regions are running a 1.5.8.1-.1.5.8.2 variation and other servers are .7 so i've had to download the old "code" file and mix-match that with the very recent updates so i can run on my local regions server, wow this isn't as simple as the youtube video but i've got it to work, got what looks like an AK 47 and abunch of lewts already.

you are missing the following mod CBA_main thats what the server tells me when i login now, after i've recently turned off the Steam overlay because i keep getting the dreaded "Arma 2 REINFORCEMENTS has stopped working" i also have teamspeak 3 x64 installed i read somewhere about the anticheat system booting people because of some sort of directx overlay but under the settings>plugins i cannot find any such overlay bundled in on TS3 x64, i disabled the steam overlay incase this also troubles it earlier on my first play in Day Z i ran/walked around and followed another newbie across grassy fields for about 20minutes on full blast 1080p very high everything, i got struck down with a "WerFault.exe - Application Error "The memory could not be written" etc etc error" so i was like "thats lame i guess your not meant to throttle all your graphics settings, mybad" anyway i started failing to even launch and got some coil noise after a reboot and retry so i was like EEEKKKK but my temps seem to be fine the i5 2500k 4.4ghz /corsair H800 doesn't peak past 56c and the GPU doesn't ever get that hot, now i've got the settings at a very comfortable resolution and graphics but yeah it says i'm missing something called "CBA_main" and it crashes 5 minutes into Day Z i can't find any "dsound.dll" to delete i've got the full version of ARMA 2, operation arrowhead, PMC and british armed forces, i've simply used the video tutorial by bash to use 7-zip and extract all the files to the directory stipulated i can run the bootcamp on any settings i throw at it, very high HD or the standardized settings i'm using with the gigabyte GTX 570 SOC @ factory OC with fan speed @ 80%... i read that if your using a 1GB+ card that you want to use "very high" on the "video memory" setting to keep it stable when i get past the server list onto the server information all the tree and bush textures appear to be xray highlighted as they are rendering, as these what you call artifacts? usually when i go to this stage i would "Arma 2 REINFORCEMENTS has stopped working" but after a short wait of about 3 minutes of "receiving data" and the server working itself out i get redumped to my last location, "missing CBA_Main" and "Arma 2 REINFORCEMENTS has stopped working" minutes later anyway running the single player game seems to work fine with whatever i throw at it, with slight variations in frame rate with HD settings. mother of god.... the game has been updated since i last downloaded it :| mod please delete ^ ###########
