@wr1633 Yes the M4A1 Holo SD is a scripted in weapon and as such shouldn't be used, so to an extent I agree with you on the point of hacked weapons but a trinket such as a radio that changes nothing in the actual game was just being petty and your rage at player's such are ourselves is misguided IMO. I don't do anything at all to support hackers and found it hilarious this afternoon when every player that was TP'd with me to the coast ALT&F4'd before the hacker even killed one of us.

I don't know about people doing this intentionally to dupe because if they are doing it on purpose then why has almost every one I've come across had all there gear intact?

OP I would just ignore WR6133 he seem's to be some angry little man with a BIG chip on his shoulder, he started in on me about me having a Radio!! I mean cmon OK your HOLO isn't legit but it's not exactly a game breaking item like the TWS and my Radio doesn't hurt any except that butt hurt whinger.

Yeah I'm all for giving more choice of Uniforms, it would be cool for groups running together to be able to all wear the same uniforms so they are easily identifiable in combat situations, imagine you and a team mate wearing a particular matching skin whilst raiding, anyone wandering into the building not wearing the same skin is automatically recognizable as not being part of your crew.

I agree with you and should anyone wonder why then the following is my reason.

I've heard talk of Admins using a script that auto-kills you if you join with hacked in weapons so I would be careful of using that weapon in any other server and get shut of it asap, also I've used the G36 SD and I think its utter crap apart from the fact it's silent.

Don't ALT+TAB EVER just because you think your safe doesn't mean you are safe, there's other players out there or even Hackers, the moment you think your safe in DayZ is the moment the game will show you safety is not in it's source code ;)

I'd go with the one with the most ammo, also the shotty doesn't doesn't make quite as much noise as the Enfield so you might want to consider that.

The running speed is faster for Hero's I can vouch for that one and it has been said on here that there is a VERY slight damage buff, from what I can remember it will only really protect you against small arms and only slightly at that.

Yesterday evening I was heading for the NWA to gear up when my current home server was getting too dark to see properly and for fear of killing myself in the dark I logged into a daytime server, upon login I was presented with a death screen "Wierd but OK one more random death, so what" I think to myself and log onto a different server near Elektro, I loot the firestation and some other building before heading out to the co-ord's for a camp I have spending about 30 minutes as a fresh spawn, I then proceed to log back into my home server only to find myself in the middle of the field I had died in earlier that evening unable to move but with no timer, after logging in and out a couple of times I decided to try the 1.7.2.4 loading screen returns you to the beach trick and was resurrected at Kamenka with all my gear from the previous life. So is this a bug or did the hive decide that my earlier death was incorrect and resurrect me? TBH whatever happened I don't care as long as I don't just drop dead next time I log in. tl:dr I died, played 30 minutes as a new spawn, login again as old (dead) character, WTF

My bug is different though because I still have the gear from my guy who supposedly died, I'm just hoping I don't login tonight and die or end up as the 1/2 hour old character I was playing

You are correct ActionMan, the Antibiotics are meant to heal any of the infections you catch in Chernarus, as far as I know you cannot become "infected"

The server I died on was very quick to load and also empty, so my only guess is that the hive didn't register my death because realistically nothing killed me, still doesn't explain playing as new spawn for 1/2 hour on a public hive server in between time though

Try joining a 1.7.2.4 server and when it gets to the final loading screen, Alt-Tab out and kill Arma in task manager, then simply rejoin your server of choice, everything should be peachy, damn I even got resurrected using that trick last night ;)

Reading through some of the recent comments I think you guys need to pick custom faces and clothes that match so that anyone coming into the group will be easily picked out as Friend or Foe, if you guys want I have 2-3 camo clothing going spare that I could send your way I know its not many but it's a start.

Would be nice if you added some details about your play style, times and where your from, IMO it would generate more interest. I have added your Steam anyway.

I still think that we should be able to see who killed us, come on guys it's not like your really going to be able to hunt the guy down, but it would be nice to kill some random player and see that in fact it was the guy killed you days, weeks or months before and you've been wanting to kill since. Dont really care if others don't agree so don't bother trying to reason against me because I have my opinion and thats where I stand.

I like the idea ;) also the knife should be a viable weapon, damn if I can get close enough to you from behind with a knife I should be able to kill you with it.

Wrecked building such as the fire station can also kill you exactly as you described, me and a group were checking out the firesation on a server were it had been leveled and it killed two of us just because we got too close to the ruins.
