    well since everyone has the freedom to scrutinize a game/mod so thats why I stuffed my troll'y opinion in (and I was in one of those moods :) )

    being a hero character on official hive servers is awsome and YES that is the route I decided instead of being a bandit....

    but once a hero and you are with buddies, you do supply runs etc and you have done all there is to do,,,

    it just leans towards PVP and I just opted out for the sake of getting bored and being one of many bandits.

    I admit I do browse and I DO pray for new DayZ mod or map to catch my interest but its just pure facts of limited things to do and alot of history repeating and pushing players to be a bandit.

    Then you should hunt down bandits as a hero not become one

    Pfft, ignore this man I've had the same DMR for almost 2 months :P But you probably should learn that Equipment comes and goes and love it whilst you have it, but also be ready for the hunt again, honestly one of my favorite parts of DAYZ is the item hunt, though I've grown attatched to my gun

    And this guy here, is also wrong, I say go to Elektro and Cherno, Hell I currently live on top of the hospital in Elektro. But know what you are doing, If there is a sniper your first job is take cover, don't drop on the ground in the cities, cause they will have high ground on you. Learn the cities and the good sniping spots. Also keep a smoke grenade or two and some flares on you, Flares and night will attract them AND zombies or Smokes during the day, either at them or where you plan on running.

    And when dealing with people, Talk to them! And then from there replies gauge them it will take awhile but it will be worth it. I would also suggest finding a home server, knowing people on the server and making friends makes the game a thousand times more fun. But remeber at the end of the day no matter how immersive DayZ is, its a game so do what you have to, to enjoy it!

    If you have had the same DMR for 2 months you clearly haven't done much as I've seen the most experienced DayZ players not keep their weapons for longer than a week

    Play both and decide - it's not as if you have to buy them.

    Me personally, i like Taviana at the moment, but i couldnt really tell you why. I think it might be the huge bridge and the fact that when i got to the other side someone had placed a very suspicious tent in the middle of the road, meaning i had to run past it. I like bandits who at least try and work for their kills.

    Which one takes more survival in your opinion?

    i have a lot of guns a have a S1203 van i carrier a lot of stuff. ok i will being i have DMR , SVD CAMO , G17, BIZON PP-19 SD, FN FAL , L85A2 AWS, FN FAL AN/ PVS-4, AS50, COMPOUND CROSSBOW, M1014, 3 HATCHET, REVOLVER, M4A1 HOLO, M4A1, M4A1 CCO, M4A3 CCO, LEE ENFIELD, WINCHESTERS, M24, M14 AIM, CZ550, i did have a m136 launcher but i give it away for the as50 the best sniper ever!!!!!! and i have many more guns and alot of mags so we can join together and take down bandits and such if you want . to contact me write to gmail : ztechgamers@gmail.com

    We can join up and trade how many tents would you want for your M24 and some mags?
