You cannot have a sidearm, if you have a pistol or PDW equipped you wot be able to equip it, but as long as you sidearm slot is empty you have to right click on the flashlight, select 'remove from belt' to equip it as your "sidearm" then switch to it from your primary weapon and THEN hit 'L' and it should work. Shame on the rest of you for giving him inaccurate/incomplete or un-helpful responses.

I'm pretty excited about it, but I think I exploited the clothes change glitch without meaning to, I always switch out of my ghillie when I'm in town and back into it when I leave towns. But either way, I have never killed anyone and will hopefully hold up the ideals of the Hero. I feel like a frickin' knight!

You are exactly right, the humanity resets and then re accumulates when you change skins, which I do when I enter/leave town. and then when you disconnect your newly accumulated total gets added to your original total and you have gained Humanity.

Metal, English actually is, in fact, the native language of ALL of the united states, which Oregon happens to be. But you do not have a very good grasp of it, (It's ok, I forgive you without you even having to ask me.) and your concept was poorly summarized. Regardless, Who cares if at some arbitrary point my screen might glitch and it might be remotely annoying? The hero skin looks great and I don't really run around shooting people, something I thought might be clear by my posting this topic in the 'Survivor HQ' forum. And since, without my even attempting, I am now a hero, and have yet to shoot a single survivor without running away from aggressors nor needing to fight for my life against them, it will, in fact, be easier to just continue being awesome, and looking awesome, as a hero.

Don't forget the sub point, that I didn't earn it. But do it Bear8u, because it looks great and shows that you are a good person. I like to think I am, I hate to think that the wrong people will exploit, intentionally, the loophole that I exploited unintentionally.

I have yet to kill any players nor have I helped any, but my humanity level is at 4750 and seems to go up without me even noticing it. Is it a glitch or did I miss other ways that you can gain humanity beyond 2500? I kill my fair share of zombies...

This is right. If you change skins your humanity sets to 0 and then fills up gradually over time until you change skins again or disconnect. If you disconnect, whatever you have gained since changing skins and playing will be added to whatever your humanity total was before.

I have no idea what you're trying to say metal, but I think it's really cute that you're trying to communicate.

I disagree. But I completely understand how you feel about the situation. The way I see it is that it is a free alpha mod that I choose to play and still enjoy despite the problems, and am perfectly happy with the experience I have, while the glitches are annoying, I feel like they are not game breaking, and when I can close a door on myself, break my legs, and get stomped by Z's, I don't really lose my head when I get killed by or as the result of a glitch, it's not worth caring when the rest of the awesome experience is free. I hope they fix all of the problems for the standalone, but I don't mind playing with issues in the alpha, even if there were no upcoming standalone and they never fixed the issues with the alpha I wouldn't mind, because its still pretty amazing, for free.

Why would you wish something so negative as for him to get banned just because you don't agree with his actions? It isn't hurting you.

I think this is a really great topic and I would love to see more tips from different players, see if we can get a really good working list of ideas and suggestions.
