If you upgrade to the i5 you'll have a 3.2Ghz processing speed, correct? You should be able to run it smoothly then, especially since you can split the game into the new cores. i3 wouldn't necessarily be a bad choice, but it might pose some complications. I'd upgrade to the i5.

One last bump, can anyone offer any advice on this? It makes the game nearly unplayable. :|

Bump, this is really tiresome and irritating to deal with. Could it just be my graphic's settings disagreeing with my hardware?

Hey there admin of this server! :) I'm under the impression you banned me? Well, at the very least, can I have an explanation as to why exactly I was banned? I have never once changed a script, executed a script changing program, or otherwise "hack" on DayZ. Also, to the best of my knowledge, I have never picked up any hacked weapons, nor even used any third party software while playing the game besides FRAPS, Skype, and the internet. My ingame name is Ghost. I've seen up to 3 on the server at the same time, so maybe it was a mistake and you banned me instead of one of them?...

Well, thank you. I was under the impression from my friend that a specific ban wasn't possible on a HIVE server. Now to go appeal to the admin...

Now, I know it says not to post ban appeals, and I'm not. I'm curious as to if this is JUST me experiencing this problem. Every time I try to join US953, it says that I am banned. This is a HIVE server, so wouldn't the only ban I can get is a global ban? But I can enter any other servers that have the same version I do. So what is it with this server specifically?

Did you save the vehicle after you left it?

The only thing I can think is that your monitor isn't set to the resolution properly. Check your monitor's resolution and crosscheck it with the ingame resolution.

Hey there all you techies. The past two days, every time I go to play, about 5-10 minutes in-game I get the "Receiving" black screen, which will flicker every 3 seconds or so, and continue to say "Recieving." It happens faster if I have my NVG's on, I've noticed. Also, when the flicker happens, I can see the outline of the NVG's.
