Use Six Updater and it will make sure your files are right. Then only join servers that have the right version running. Some servers are running either a newer or older version and if you join it will give you that message. So look at the title of the server and make sure it matches the latest version sixupdater is using.

Make sure its in your inventory and then use "F" to cycle threw your weapons. You will see flare on the top right, then hit your fire button and you will take it out and throw it.

Cracked versions of the game it will work with, but those copies eventually stop working and you might get banned by battleeye

LOOK UP THE INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO INSTALL Too many people think its a simple install and play and thats when you run into problems.

Well if you are looking to make some kind of video/stream of it, then right now would be a good time to do it since well Dayz is popular now with a lot of people interested so you could build more of a base of viewers. But you will be competing with a bunch of people right now who have been doing it since launch.

Its a problem with the latest patches. People are having it randomly. Try joining other servers and if that does not work just kill yourself and see what happens.

Get SixUpdater and try joining a server threw it.

Put the files in the right place, Don't run sixupdater because it will automatically update the files. Just start the game manually and you should be fine.

IDK if it would be your PC making that happen.

Try reinstalling ARMA2 and the mod but follow all the directions. Most of the time its because of that, which can cause problems.

I think it is a server setting, So depending on what server you are on they can be turned on or off by the admin. Same with any messages that appear.

This is a mod based off a military simulator. So I really don't think XP and extra stuff like that will be added.

Give it a week or so worth of spamming questions and complaints and then it will be back to normal. Hell even the IRC jump 100% more people in it since the steam sale launched.

I am thinking with the guy saying Super Computers are needed to play this game, might be computer illiterate. If he has a decent setup it has to be a bootleneck of some kind either in his physical part of his computer or in his drives. But this game runs great even on normal setting for most people.
