I run a 5942x1080 setup. Powering it are two gtx 680's, a six core cpu clocked at 4.1ghz, 16 gigs of ram etc. I got plenty of power in my pc. I have 3 1920x1080p screens all same model ( my total res of 5942 accounts for bezal correction). When i tun Dayz i have all settings at full and set my res to 5942x1080 in windowed mode. Due to nvidia being stupid and not doing product testing before releasing their products if u run two 680's in surround on a AMD 990 chipset u have to do so in windowed mode (which runs fine) because if u run full screen u get 5-7fps max no matter what game u play. The problem is when i got to play it downsizes my resolution to 50% rather than stay at 100%. While it runs fine with it at 100% as soon as i exit the settings menu it downsizes me. I have the FOV correctly set and sometimes i can get the resolution to work while playing sometimes but only for a few min then it downsizes me again back to 50%. I get 30+ fps when playing at 100% in city with alot going on so its not a performance issue from my hardwares power. I have tryed using the config file to force my resolution but it keeps reverting back ingame and ignoring the config file. I know not many people have three monitor setup and havent experianced this problem but im hoping atleast a few of u have.

We are waiting for kim to get back from vacation to get the server back up. We have been unable to log into the server controls and couldnt change times. We could only restart it from a RCON, but after the server had a error we cant manualy restart it. I am sorry for the inconviance.

Tuggo, i didnt ban u (this is totalwar). I am 22 and my mic isnt the best sadly. Not even 30seconds before u started shooting one of our team got teleported to the middle of the ocean. There was only 3 other people online that was not in our group at the time started asking to find out who was doing what. I never said u hacked i asked for what happened on your end u responed, i dont hack we never hack and then you left after cussing me out. All i asked was for your story and that it was only weird because one of our guys was tele'd into the middle of the ocean again not 30secs before u opened fire! The only person that accused u was the one pissed off in the middle of the ocean. I never did. Bungle u had a hacked KSVK mag on u and u know it. I asked u multiplue times about it and u just said i was stupid etc. Your own team mates said you were out of line. As anyone online could comfirm i said "i am not accusing u i am only responding to a report" never once did i say u hacked i said i found something and what was ur side of the story as to how it was on u. I only banned u for 1 hour, as i know u play there alot and wanted to be fair as u didnt have the gun. Had u just said anything besides fuck u i wouldnt have at all, as shown by ur teammates talking to me i am quiet fair. Yes u killed me while i was in a bush hiding from zombies. O well. I was upset but its the game i got over it.

I have to say that finders realy showed what dayz could be if admins were alowed to have more power over their server and used them correctly. I think that for the sand alone it should be like wow where servers are about 4-10 times larger then they currently are and are hosted by the game producers with a admin watching for hack (which will be less than current and responding to help tickets for a server or two. If finders does not come back up i would like to try and do what they did and try and push it farther.

Anyone remember the location of the stream done last night on the server? I want to see our battle lol.

Remove please. I cant tell u how many remove sprees ive gone on in electro on my server because they've blocked off whole blocks, buildings, etc. and it just makes players not want to use ur server with it up. Or make it so toolbox, knife, hatchet, and mabye crowbar can remove it.

True u can but I'd rather not have cars and tents then go without ether of these. They are constaint problems rather than every so often bugs. If this is fixed in next patch I'd upgrade, the work on graphical error fix was amazing comapired to 1.7.2.5.

Again, the inability to see ur hunger, thirst, cold meters while using the debug screen. They stay full even if ur dieing from hunger. Ucant see the white cross in blood when bleeding ether. So far me and all my allies have this problem on every server we tried.

The graphics glitches are fixed to a 80-90% which is great. Cars etc. are back and so are tents great. Can't play with debug screen and still see ur hunger, thirst, etc. Make it unplayable period. Step back in my option will stay on 1.7.2.5.

I like this Idea and i would like to propose we take it one farther. 1. Private server for those that are roleplaying 2. Forum Deticated to the idea and private server 3. Info for charas be stored in the forums, history (story), personality, etc. 4. You must play by your chosen personality as stated in the forums. 5. No glich exploting or Alt f-4ing 6. no side chat as it would like the role play aspect of the game 7. Clans if they have a set amount of people can make bases that are off limits to others (can not be in citys and must be out of the way from normal trafic) unless that clan is challanged by another to defend their base at a given time. Arma 2 works great in surround, FOV is spot on, and with the use of Windows boardless gaming app i use that turns reg windows in windows fullscreen so no boarders it workes extreamly well save this downsizing of resolution problem.

I was a Nvidia fan before AMD bought out ATI and being a AMD fan i was quite screwed when it took place lol. Id go Intel just dont have the extra cash at the moment, so im trying to make do with that i have and i just pisses me off that Nvidia doesnt test their cards for half of the cpu market but thats besides the point. Down sizing of my resolution is only in Dayz and its driving me crazy i need to find a way to stop it from wanting to change my applyed settings in the menu or config file. It is the only game to do so that ive seen. And i hope more dont follow its path because computers dont always chose correctly.
