when I die or leave a server it says a completely random name and 0mins. Does this happen for you guys? or does it tell you your time? im also using a .cmd file rather than going through steam...if this has anything to do with it?

Thanks but unfortunatly its not helping...ive been at this non stop all day! From what I have read a the likely problem is there are no CD keys (which steam SHOULD tell people before they buy the game, because I could have got both games cheaper if i just went to my nearest Game).

OK...so after much ummming and arrring i decided to get the combined Ops just to play DayZ. I let it download over night and they where finished when I woke...but when I click play I get this message: #SteamUI_JoinDialog_KeyRequestPending_Title #SteamUI_JoinDialog_KeyRequestPending_Text Please can somebody help!!! Im new to all this and have no idea what to do :(

Update: ok so i ran Fraps fps and at first it was 25-30 which then dropped to avg. 15fps... this good enough? any way i can make it better? im so desperate to play DayZ!!!!! but being a complete noob is hard!

i have a similar setting...from what i can see theres not much we can do...does it run at all? this helped speed mine up:

ok i downloaded it and its OK...about 1sec lag on movements...anyone know how i can fix this?

OK so i know you hear this a lot but... Im new to PC gaming and have only ever played command and conquer. God i hope DayZ gets to Xbox soon. so i want to buy it but had no idea if it would work. So Im about to download the Arma demo but in the meantime i thought id ask if would run on my laptop. I done the "can you run it" check and it said i failed on the Video Card because Dedicated Video RAM min. is 256MB and I have 64MB so i have... Asus X52F-EX1399V 4GB RAM i3 processor Intel HD Graphics 640GB I would love to start playing it now but if i have to wait because it would be rubbish on my set up then so be it... HURRY UP AND PUT IT ON CONSOLES ALREADY! all these rumors?! sales will be better than ever before! anyway thanks in advance!!!
