Some ideas for melee (all damage is referring to PvP damage, not against zombies): - You should be able to swing your melee weapon while sprinting, maybe giving 50% less damage while sprinting. Right now is almost impossible to hit anybody who is running from you, even if he's slower than you (wearing a firearm for example) - All melee weapons should be buffed by 50% at least, melee fights are going forever, a melee player would have almost no possibility against player with guns, because you will need to hit him like 10 times while dodging bullets. - Attack button should raise your melee weapon like when using guns. I agree, I think you should be able to cover these small camo tents using leaves too.

Nice to hear that!, I hope it does quite damage to players also, the last time I tested it It was fine against zombies but really weak against players.

They should add the ability to cover your tent using leaves if placed on a forest. Something like this but covering the actual tents: Also It would be nice a smaller tent like in the mod, so you can hide it better.

Anybody knows if the melee damage has been buffed? I didn't test it lately.

We already have the 3D models of the apples, fresh apples are spawning inside houses, I think it would be much better if the fresh apples spawn in the tree, the actual mechanic is really boring. This way you really will need to search for apples around the apple trees. Also it could work for berries too, finding the 3d model of the berries instead of searching for berries message.

I agree, shadows should be always on, putting the shadows off is like cheating in some way imo. But before doing it they should optimize the game because the performance right now is really bad.

I voted yes, but only when you are changing servers, if you log off and join to the same server again, the next day for example, there must be no sound when logging in. The sound could be something like Sci-Fi movies, changing dimensions sounds or something :P

I'm waiting for more players online mostly and permanent storage.

Hi, it would be nice if we could stack little objects like batteries, pens, can openers maybe? I think these objects are taking too much inventory space, Right now a Notacola can uses 1 slot, same as 1 battery, Notacola's space would be the equivalent of 5 batteries more or less, 5 pens, 2 or 3 can openers, just an example.

Sounds are really broken atm, I did read somewhere they hired a new sound guy but I think no new sounds has been introduced or fixed yet apart of the new weapon sounds.

I would like something like this, imagine that's a Dayz Backpack, and the red and blue trails are bullets going trough the backpack. The blue bullet would destroy 3 cans of food and banana and maybe damage a bit the melee weapon. The red bullet would destroy the rice and one refresh can. The backpacks surface would be to be divided into quadrants, depending on how much slots the backpack can carry.

I think there should be a message if you are killed while logging off telling "you were killed" just you know if your character was killed or deleted by bugs. I don't like the exact message telling me who killed me and how. I like Dayz much better without the Global Chat, there are no people insulting anothers for being killed etc, much more immersive without it.

As you can see in the picture you can separate harcore from regular servers but you can't order harcore servers by population, it would be nice to have the hardcore Filter on the Filter Menu

It would be nice if you are killed while logging off, having a message when logging in saying that you are being killed while logging off. I think Rust has a similar message telling you where killed while you was offline.

Indeed... It would be nice if the player holds the gas lamp more naturally, right now it holds the gas lamp like a sandwitch.

I think the time is ok, they are going to remove penalties for joining the same server, so if you lost connection, etc you can join the same server without penalty. It would be nice to have a last server joined tab on the server browser or something that tells you the last server you were in. Maybe lowering the time until gets fixed?

I would like to see the respawn button available 5 or 10 minutes after spawning, just until problems making players wait for a long time in order to die of starvation are solved.

I think no game has prevent users from using gamma, I don't think is even possible, because you can always tweak the gamma in other ways. I kinda like the night of Dayz because even using gamma you won't see a thing, it forces you to use some source of light.

Vaulting was working before with broken legs, but devs removed the ability to vault while having broken legs.

I think they shouldn't remove the ability to vault while having a broken leg before fixing things like this.
