I'm sure more players will move north as soon as there are better basebuilding, bikes, bicycles, new zones like the infected zone and so on but most of all when there are more players per server, there is no need for rush. If newbies don't like to be sniped they always can move inland :P Sniping is far as bad as it was in the mod because there are no 50 cal and such. There are no huge cities in the middle of the map like cherno, for example merging Novy and Stary Sobor and making a big city around there would attract many players I think.

The point I was trying to make is there is not any need to be foggy all the time, there are plenty of people who likes to stay on the coast for a reason, main reason being I think, there is more players in the coast. Some likes to snipe from the hills, I personally enjoy killing those guys but now there are no guys on the hills, some just want to wander around meeting people, others after getting geared in the north likes to come to the coast for killing players, some after meeting players on the coast likes to travel north together etc etc... Now you won't find half of the players you used to see on the coast because of the fog... So I don't know why the developers have to ruin all those playstiles and force us to play the way they think is better. I went inland today for 2/3 hours and I didn't see any player or sign of player activity, I don't like going to the north airfield or the other military bases because that's long combat, I like close combat and cities are the best for that, and the more crowded cities are on the coast. Fog is fine some times but fog all the time I think is not.

I tried to make a fire today for cooking some chicken, I tried to make a fire inside a garage but the game didn't let me because "it was not safe". I tried to make it outside then but the fire went off because of the raining, so basically you will have a very hard time making a fire while is raining. There is any hope on reverting this back so we can make fires indoor again? I mean what's safe in Dayz? having this kind of message is kinda funny on an apocalyptic world and you won't be able to make fire when you most need it (when it's raining).

Weapon resting for Arma III is very good, I hope they will introduce weapon resting in Dayz as well as Arma III stances.

Hi, I think big objects as wheels, barrels, tents and big objects in general shouldn't be able to transfer between servers, any of these big objects should fall to the ground when switching servers. With vehicles in place the quicker way to fix a vehicle is serverhopping, and I think that's not the way to go, maybe until serverhopping is fixed or removed that would be a good temporary fix.

Hi, I'm looking for a launcher like A3Launcher for Dayz Standalone, Dayz server browser runs really bad, just like arma 3 server browser. I'm having a hard time finding servers because the browser doesn't show all the servers. Thank you!

I can't find Dayz on the game list inside steam server browser. I installed withsix but it doesn't seem to recognize Dayz either, it only recognizes Arma III for me. I used playwithsix long time ago but now it changed and I can't even find the way to browse Arma III servers. I disabled my Adblock but the UI still seems confusing or incomplete.

Thanks for your response!, it would be nice if these images are available to all, for example I uploaded some wrong signs images and I didn't knew if these images has been already reported because I couldn't check the images already uploaded.

For big objects I meant objects that the only way to carry it is on your hands, wheels tents and barrels, In the future helicopter parts and maybe construction materials as you said could be added to the list also. I don't mean objects on hands like weapons. That would make these important objects easier to control by central economy also. I agree with you on serverhopping, I think they need to make it so it's less profitable doing serverhopping than not doing it. At the begining of Dayz standalone it was like that but sometimes you needed to wait to join the same server you were playing because Dayz crashed, you lost connection or a server restart happened; I hope at least this method will come back when they solve that problem. -
Hi, I'm playing Life is Feudal and it has a very good turning system for characters in my opinion, the camera will turn instantly 180º without "mouse lag" but the character will take some time until turns 180º. Maybe Bohemia could toy with this system and introduce it into Dayz. I made a video so you can see what I mean: https://youtu.be/1fZV1VFTI98

I think there should not be new loot after server restarts, the world should remain the same as if no server restart occurred.

I would really like a new map more like Grand Theft auto maps, where graphics and detail are not as good as in Dayz but there are much more buildings each one different from the others. It really feels like a city rather than cloned buildings all over the map. The layout of houses and terrain is awesome in DayZ but I think it needs more diversity. If the buildings are the same at least the exterior texture should look different and the interiors should vary. I really would like a bigger cities on the next map. Maybe Dayz needs something like the Unreal engine BSP's for adding variation instead of making everything out of 3d models, I dunno. Here's a video from Grand Theft Auto so u can see what I mean:

I don't think the performance would be that bad, in GTA V buildings are much more simple than in Dayz, what I'm trying to suggest is making a more diverse buildings but making a simpler buildings also so the city doesn't look as repetitive as in Chenarus. Graphics in GTA aren't that good either, I think Bohemia can sacrifice graphics a bit also in order to make the game more fluid.

I think limiting the gamma slider won't solve it as you can always change it from your graphic card program, from the monitor, even using some gamma programs. The only solution I know of is making pitch black nights 100% black without any gradients.

I guess yes because blurriness is on by default, after you regain blood it should slowly come back to normal. -

The problem here is if you don't remove blurring or use gamma you will be on disadvantage over other players who uses it. If I play solo games I don't use gamma or any other option for gaining advantage, but I use it if the game is an online game because I don't like to being killed/spotted by other player with better vision than mine. I think is up to developers really, they need to remove the option for avoiding blurriness if it is intentional as Dayz is an online game. Gamma has a more tricky solution, the only game I know about where gamma doesn't give you advantage if you turn it up is Rust because at night everything is completely black with the exception of the sky, there are no gradients, so turning gamma up doesn't give you any advantage over other players who doesn't use it. Many people doesn't like pitch black nights though. The only time where using gamma in Rust give you advantage is at sunrise and at nightfall but in Rust it last like 1 minute, so I think nobody adjust their gamma for just 1 minute of gameplay. -

In UO you could be banned because of using macro programs playing in official servers. I like Dayz developers are trying to avoid gaining skill using macros as in Dayz we have no GM's to control if players are using macros or not.
