    The new crosshair...

    When you choose elite difficulty the crosshair is off by default, you can enable if you want though. I play on arma 3 first person servers and I didn't play on any server that has crosshair on. I think I explained wrong, I meant like arma 3 without crosshair. When you play without crosshair you see where the bullets lands by bullet impacts or smoke on the terrain, and you correct the aim accordingly, just like in real life, there isn't anything telling you where the bullets will land, so you can align it to your target.

    The dot was meant to be only temporary if I remember well, now Dayz has a crosshair... I wouldn't mind if the crosshair remains in 3rd person servers, but please remove it in first person servers. A dot is fine for looting purposes but once you raise your weapon for hip firing the crosshair should disappear, I think it should be like arma 3, no crosshair while hip firing. Watching some streamers you can see they rarely use aiming position any more, they just use crosshair as it is really accurate.

    Bigger Forests please?

    It deppends on luck also, I never used the edge of the map, in some servers my tents never got raided in months, in others it happen the first week, it was hard imo but not impossible. In standalone having less forests for hiding tents, twice players and bigger tents will make it almost impossible imo.

    In the mod was hard to hide your tents sucesfully in a 50 player crowded server, with less forests and 100/150 players and bigger tents, will be imposible to hide a camp. Maybe we'll be able to wall our camp so there is no need to hide it anymore, but not much has been confirmed about basebuilding. I would love bigger forest too whatever you can wall your camp or not.

    Randomize house interiors

    Hi, it would be nice if house interiors become randomized. When you enter a house all the furniture for that house type is placed exactly the same as another house of that type, chairs, furniture, tables and everything are placed on the same spot making it very repetitive. Changing the placement of the objects like chairs, wardrobes, pianos, storages, ovens etc would make it much less repetitive. One thing H1Z1 has made very good job is randomizing house distributions, even if the house looks the same from outside the interior distributions are always different and feels much less repetitive than Dayz.

    How can 1PP be improved?

    Camera moves too fast with headbob on, in other games headbob has a much more smooth camera movement. It would be nice if we all have a standard smooth headbob, removing headbob completely gives you advantage over others players who have headbob enabled.
  7. I think it should be fixed, It has been like that since Dayz mod, once you put an object under a tree you won't be able to pick it up, it doesn't appear in the vicinity tab either.

    Make firearms less powerful

    Damage is fine, maybe some melee weapons needs more damage. I don't like in other games when you shot somebody in the back, he turns around and kill you...
  9. I think the time for logging out should be at least 1 minute, if you have been injured in the last 5 minutes or shots have been fired on less than 1000 meters away from your position, the timer for logging out should increase to 5 minutes or something like that.

    Bambi with broken legs

    I think if you have broken legs you should be able to have the respawn option, sometimes you will need to crawl for a lot of time and that is not fun.

    Remove crosshair while...

    - Remove crosshair while the character is moving. - Remove crosshair while the weapon is raised (avoiding using crosshair for hip fire). While looting our character is not moving and weapon doesn't need to be raised, I think there is no point on having crosshair for other thing than looting.

    Better Gathering

    Right now you can fill a backpack of berries from a single plant if you have the time for it. I would like a system that makes you move from plant to plant in order to find food instead staying at one plant and repeating "search for berries" over and over, for that the plants/trees should deplete and recover over time. The following method could improve the actual gathering system: - For example when you check for berries it should tell you if you find berries on the plant on the first attempt (or maybe one to five attempts), if there is no berries on the plant it will appear one message telling you "there are no berries on the plant" so you will need to move to another plant in order for searching for more berries. - Berries will have a chance of spawning 1 unit each 5 or 10 hours, with a maximum or 5 berries for example. I think it makes sense that if you are looking for apples, you will check lots of apple trees, not one single tree over and over. It shouldn't take more than 30 sec/ 1 min to check a whole tree.
  13. https://youtu.be/NcsJz7IN7e4 My suggestion is about removing "Vicinity" and replace it with "Drop" so no object will be displayed in the vicinity tab, the players will need to search for the objects in the environment and pick it up by hand. The vicinity tab could be gone totally as if you drag any object out of the inventory space it drops that object anyway, saving some inventory space. I think this change will increase the immersion and players will actually have to search for loot instead of opening the inventory tab and walking around hoping some loot will pop up in the vicinity tab.

    Map size?

    We can't compare it, but there are other games like half life or others that have similar tools for modifying the terrain, a better/friendly tools for terrain modeling/painting would be cool.

    It's a pity they can't expand the map any further, It would be awesome to have huge forest for camping. Also for mods purposes it would be nice if they introduce an easier way to create and modify terrains, like Unreal Engine for example where you can use tools for modelling and expanding the terrain.
  16. I would like the process of dying of starvation to be more slow also, they can remove some food in order to balance the amount of food as we will need less food in order to survive. I think all fresh food should be removed, it's like there is always Day 1 after the apocalypse with all these fresh food you can found inside houses, It would be better if we only grow it instead. Also you can sprint forever while being starving, a player dying of starvation shouldn't be able to sprint or maybe run at all.

    I think after trying to connect a server unsuccessfully (because the server is full or not responding) server list shouldn't refresh unless you press the refresh button.

    in defence of FOV slider

    I think that's the way it should be, when in zoom in the FOV should be around 50º (focal length around 50 matches to the human eye.) I think the FOV should be restricted to a minimum of 50º as a lower FOV than that will allow us to see the objects closer/bigger than it should be giving the player an unfair advantage. Dayz is an online game, game configurations should be as equal as possible between players for avoiding advantages between them (remove grass, remove headbob, remove shadows, remove post effects for avoiding blurriness, distance vision, FOV, etc options should be avoided/limited so players doesn't activate/desactivate it for gaining advantage over other players)

    Logging out idea from Reign of Kings

    I think it would be cool, but only if the player remains sleeping for one/half an hour or so, this way others players will be able to find you even if you combat logged. I don't think the actual 30 seconds are enough, it is very easy to combat log in 30 secs. Having the player sleeping until you connect again to the server maybe is too much, we don't actually can make a base to sleep like Reign of Kings or Rust and you probably will get killed too much while sleeping. Also serverhopping is again a problem because your sleeping player would disappear as soon as you connect to another server making combatlogging still viable.

    How Often Do You Meet Survivors?

    You will find most players around the coast, I believe Electro and Berezino are the most crowded cities, also is where the most friendly players seems to be, maybe because most of them are unarmed. I never had a friendly encounter inland. In my opinion going inland is really boring also because you can run for hours and don't find anybody even on full servers. I hope they are working on increasing the number of players per server also.
  21. I think it's not because of "dexterity" that you can't aim properly at running targets, I think is more the high speed the players can run all the time and the low fps are making hard to kill a running player. I like "dexterity", I think is a very cool feature.

    I voted no to helicopters, We don't have big forest or enough map to hide the big tents we have now, the forests we had on the mod have been replaced with new cities mostly, I think having helicopters spotting survivors camps will make it only worse.

    Lower Point of View in VS3

    I agree, lowering the height of the player inside vehicles would help. It would be nice to have seat height adjustment for vehicles or some way to move around your head while driving, Sturmovik even let you open the window and move your head out of the window for having a better visibility.

    Weapon Sway!

    I agree, I believe there is too much sway, I recently shot a weapon for my first time and the sway was not as much as in Dayz, maybe it was a little more bumpy though. I hope they implement weapon resting soon, even in the prone position the sway is too high imo.
