They are going to remove 3rd player view when proned, but I'm afraid driving vehicles with 3dp on will give you an extreme view advantage as in Arma series, as well as other anoying 3dp camera advantages. I hope there will be enough first person only servers and they implement arma 3 new player stances, these stances are really useful playing in first person mode and improves stealth and helps you remain hidden a lot.

Hi, I would like to have very limited server tools. I think there should be no tools that can give an admin advantage over other players. The tools can be things like, third player view on/off, or something like that. I think server tools shouldn't include anything regarding player/loot/vehicles location, being able to spawn items teleportation and any kind of tools that can give an administrator advantage over other players. -
Hi, I would like to see some kind of UI for being able to check injuries, only available pressing a key, like the inventory UI. That UI would show parts of the body where the pain come from and maybe some kind of information about the wound type. Thirst and blood level can be somewhat introduced into that UI also. I would prefer this rather than text messages that you can easily miss. Especially in first person you could be bleeding from a foot for example and don't notice it. I'm up to have 0 or none UI at the main window, that would remove a lot of messages cleaning the main game window and will improve inmersion.

If you are shot in the knee wearing jeans, will the items in your pockets be damaged, or only the jeans? As the game register the exact location of the bullet impact It would be nice if you need to shot the pockets area for the items to become damaged.

Hi,it would be nice if for example someone has been shot in the knee, the jeans become damaged but the items in the pockets doesn't; if the bullets hits the pocket area then the items inside become damaged. Making all the items inside a jeans damaged when you are shooting near the foots wouldn't be accurate. Same for the shirts, if the shirt receive a bullet in the pockets area the items inside will become damaged, if not only the shirt will become damaged.

I think this game without bandits would be boring, I think friendly players should meet together and start hunting them, making some "safe" areas for friendly players, etc, rather than a game mechanic that punishes bandits.

Great Idea!, matches, lighters and oil lamps should make the job too. Marks on the map are nice, but I think in game mark wich shows the meters remaining and the direction regarding where you put the mark on the map should be gone; this way people will follow roads, lakes, cities, etc for orientation thus it will be more easy to hide the camps/bases because people won't be travelling through the middle of a forest following a mark; I personally found lots of tents/cars following my own mark through the mountains in servers with that marks enabled. I'm playing on a server without these marks now and Is much easier to hide stuff and harder to find other's stuff.

Hi, I been reading lots of post about the alpha, but didn't find any question to the devs regarding storage. Storage will probably came along with the base construction, but until then I think we need some kind of storage: tents, a box under a tree, a hole or whatever, something that would remain in the world, and can be found by others. There will be any kind of storage for the alpha or anytime soon? Thanks!

I just post another idea for help avoiding server hopping, I dind't want to open another post about the same. I don't think switching to empty servers for looting is good for the game; encourages server hoping in places with high quality loot without risk, and some players would prefer switching servers than travelling around the map because is more profitable. Maybe 75/150 is a high number, maybe 50 is fine so people that doesn't like very high populated servers can join these, that's an online game to play with others :D -

I think It would be good removing empty servers from the server list. That would reduce the amount of people joining empty servers. If there's for example 50 servers with more than 75/150 people then an empty server would be unlocked an would appear on the server list; if a low populated server gets empty, then that server disappear from the server list. -

Stances from straight up to hunching in arma 3 are very good, I hope they will implement it in Standalone. The only movement I miss a lot is leaning without weapon and leaning while in prone position. -
I like it, it can be used for cooking, heat up yourself, lighting at night, attract bandits.

In Arma 3 HeadBob has been smooth a lot, and fps are more smooth and stable, hopefully people won't get that first person sickness people had in arma 2. I'm actually playing at Arma 3 First Person only servers and there are enough servers for now. Hopefully people will keep playing first person only servers in Arma 3 and then in Dayz S.A.

Hi, I hope both types of servers will be officially supported, the ones where u can take your items from one server to another, and another official servers like the private ones we have now, where u can't take your character/items to another server. If we are limited one type only where you can do serverhopping, I hope a drastic measure is in place for avoiding server hoping annoyances, like new random player location every time the player changes server; or something like that. I would really like playing on a official server like the "private hives" we have now, I think it should be officially supported too. -
Hi, there are some suggestions for the vehicles in S.A.: *** Make the vehicles fun to drive! *** In Dayz Mod when you go offroad is when the fun should start: vehicle bouncing and loosing grip, skidding, etc, instead we have a boring speed reduction who takes all the fun away. I think physics is the more important part that should be improved in vehicles. *** Wheels damage*** Another thing that takes the fun away is when u get a flat tire, the car suddendly stops and u can't drive further; a car needs much more than a flat tire for being unable to move: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHhQpcyXssw It would be nice if wheels would have at least three types of damage: flat tire, flat tire without the rubber (wheel rim) making sparks while driving and completly destroyed wheel (wheel won't turn). Each damage wheel would result in a different car behaviour: (affecting grip, power, maneuverability, etc) ***Vehicle/Player Damage*** Vehicle damage in Dayz Mod is very realistic keep it please :D maybe some car body visual damages would be nice, removing exploding vehicles would be good too as the vehicles are designed to not explode, maybe a little probability of fire after an accident that will grow until the car explodes. -While driving, the ability to remove the windshield when broken: maybe with a kick/shot from inside. -Seabelts: it would take like 2 seconds to put on your seabelt and 1 sec for removing it, or something like that. It would reduce a lot the physical damage taken on collision. -Run over Infected / players with your car at high speeds should damage your car/windscreen. -As suggested on onther threads a a driver dead body should remain at the car until removed. People inside the car should be able to push out the car a dead driver whithout abandon the car. *** Vehicle controls *** Good Controller support. Progressive controls: like incremental throttle in Red Orchestra for speed at least. Gears: maybe having the option of automatic shifting also for non controller users. Cluth would be good for controller users too. Hand Brake progressive too if possible. *** Vehicle sounds *** Skids sounds Being able to open close windows will cause you to hear more or less the engine/exterior of the car. *** Fuel *** Being able to take fuel from a car using plastic tubes.

Remove it please! :) Red Orchestra doesn't have crosshair and people doesn't have difficult time throwing grenades ,picking up weapons from the floor or attacking from melee, with a little practice all should be fine. Maybe is good to have a little dot when using meele weapons or no weapons like in Chivalry Medieval Warfare. Improving the door detection boxes can be enough. Remove the ammo count too please, the Red Orchestra system is nice and realist; you just know how many mags you have left and the aproximate weight of the mag; an animation for checking the bullets inside the mag would be nice. Hide the UI as much as possible, show the stamina only when not full (after running) etc. Hud on demand style.

Hi, after the Arma games have been released including 3rd person view I see a lot of complaints coming if it's removed. One solution could be having more server options for this: maybe one option with 3rd person like it is right now, another option with a capped 3rd person view ( camera at the character eyes height with the character displaced to the right/left and preventing looking over obstacles.) maybe other option not rendering in 3rd person objects that you wouldn't see using 1st person view. The idea is giving various options so the players can decide wich one they like more I think Head bobbing should become a server option too, maybe head bob on/off option should be enough; if it's on the server decides the minimum head bob the player is forced to have. For example entering in a server with head bob 30 you'll be able to select between head bobbing 30 or more. Playing with head bobbing is harder and because you need to stop to have a look around and it gives advantage to the player not using it. Various types of head bobbing would be cool to have, one more "standard"/smooth like in other games, and another more realist like in Arma.

Hi, It would be nice being able to have progressive controls like: Vehicles: - Increase / Decrease speed. (gradual without the need of a controller) - Increase / Decrease altitude (slowly or fast) - Helicopter nose up / down (gradual) - etc Character: - Increase / Decrease speed (you would be able to increase / decrease running/walking speed in a gradual way) - Increase / Decrease height (you would be able to be in any position between stand and crouch position) - Increase / Decrease lean (gradual leaning) - Increase / Decrease head height while in prone for taking a look over the grass. This could be done mapping new keys for gradual controls or for example if you press W for walking, then you can press increase or decrease keys for increase or decrease speed, if you press "C" for crouching then you can press increase or decrease for crouch a little less for being able to shoot from a window or whatever; if you press "Q" for leaning then you can press increase or decrease keys for gradual leaning.

I agree but you still need a constant input from the mouse for keeping your helicopter nose down/up.

I would like having both fast and slow zombies and different types (young/old, slim/fat, small/large, injured, crippled ones) I think hunger zombies should move slower, some should be in the throes of death and only be a threat if you are very cose to them and well feed zombies should move faster having more energy.
