    [SA] weapon + scotch + knife =

fall with this http://www.cars83.com/scotchs/blinde.jpg ? We can implement a big scotch
  2. I support you in your idea. Now I have also a solution for option D, indeed kill a player to get his stuff is the best options and less risk (although a player with the skill can quickly lie to hide behind a bush or a wall, put a bandage and a successful kill her abuser) but I think the solution would be simple as adding skill / knowledge though I like this idea. > Zombies: they are the solution to pvp, I'm not talking about two or three zombies here and there but HORDES of zombies, or a shot can stir up dozens and dozens, or the attacker can take advantage of distraction caused by the noise generated by the weapon for run away and keep alive! Zombies can be used intelligently, imagine you took a lawsuit against another player, you find a horde of zombies and you're well hidden not far from the horde as if he shot he get rioted!
  3. weapon + scotch + knife = bayonet ? It could be a possibility.
  4. That's why you dont want to play at night ? I f its the only thing no worries about that the rendering of the night is only a matter of programming, if you saw the last live maked by Dean, you would never said that. The night is made This is realistic if everything is cohesive, everything is a question of proportionality, if the day is shorter it is obviously necessary to review the food system or degradation clothes etc ... faster Because you believe that taking morphine while you have the broken bone is realistic? You think Jogging through the map without stopping is realistic? Do you think that putting a motor in his bag this is realistic? I can continue... If you want realism does not play ... it remains a game! But it must be consistent.
  5. Because you believe that change server when night falls for a server where it's day it's realistic? Because you believed that most of the servers that have shifted time zones are realistic? Be aware perspective, a day / night cycle will make the world more believable, moreover you find it realistic to play a survival only during the day? lol What is the interest of the current watch? NONE, with a day / night cycle the watch found FINALLY an utility ! Indeed, suppose you look at your watch and you see that the night will soon fall that will push you to hurry up and find the necessary to survive during the night! THATS IT DAYZ !!!
  6. Completely review the operation of survival! In Dayz we are not afraid by starve to death, thirst, and not afraid to get sick and I even talking about zombies ... In Dayz that simple, we are afraid about one thing : the night ( no one plays at night while is a SURVIVAL GAME !) and... MOSTLY OTHER PLAYERS This game does not have a survival games, this is a PVP game ! Besides several server are solely dedicated to pvp WTF? we are in dayz sh*t ... when we play Dayz we worrying about survival. I propose to overhaul the outdated mechanical survival ! IMPOSE a Day / Night cycle shorter ! This is the only solution to decrease the period of hunger and thirst faster! Indeed, if there is a 45min day/night cycle, if we take the summer time it gives us a day of 45min and a night for 30 minutes for example, and although hunger and thirst descend in proportion to the duration of a day and depending on fatigue person (the fact of running tirelessly etc ...) Currently on session 2 hours I fed once, with this day / night cycle imposed , it will eat at least 5/ 6 times and drink as much . THEN increase the risk of disease! If a zombie hurts us (when the blood flows) CONTAMINATION IS ASSURED ! This will force us to find drug and DO NOT rush like a moron in the north for military loot only... Finally with regard to the body temperature, it must decrease until 3 times when the nigth coming ! Forcing us to stop regularly to keep warm and avoid its concern of others! With that, the players are more concerned about their person than other...

    Idea : Technical escape !

Well guys... Thanks for your support ^^ LoL why not ? It is true that there are many possibilities, I think especially to put a trap in a carcass, for example, zombies are attracted by the carcass but no luck there is an explosive or a beartrap like NagstertheGangster says... We could even add a feature where you could move the carcass from point A to point B in order to concentrate a maximum of zombie for a moment.

    Idea : Technical escape !

The percentage can be changed if needed, it's just an order of magnitude, by cons you could actually add some sort of "time decay", in fact a dead animal who was killed after 5 minutes have more effect than animal killed after an hour.

    Idea : Technical escape !

We do not know the historical context of the game, for me the zombies have a real need for fresh meat, no matter where it comes from, as I described then there is a success rate, it is not inevitable, it helps us escape especially for the beginner.

    Idea : Technical escape !

zombies do not just eat that human beings... matter of common sense, in fact it is easier to eat a non-moving target than a moving target.

Maybe we can open can before throwing ^^
  12. Hi, I noticed that many of us dies early in the game because they do not manage to escape zombies. Finding myself in the same situtation (always), I was still running to escape (i have no weapon), and I told myself to slow the progression of zombies, it would be wise to sacrifice food for they stop their pursuit. How it works: When we recovered meat or cans in inventory we would have a new "action" by right click and tells us "want to use this as a trap?" by agreeing the object in question can be used as trap for zombie. CAUTION: Drop the food is NOT as effective! It will first apply the food that you want to use as TRAP. I would give three category persuasion based food (drink will not have any effect) and on a base of ten zombies after us : Cans containing meat (pork, sardines etc ...): 25% - 30% chance that at least one zombie make trapped. 2~3/10 - Hold zombie(s) ~5sec to 10sec - Perception area (loss of sight) = don't stay beside Raw meats (percentage varies depending on the animal meat): 40% (for a rabbit) to 60% (for beef) chance that at least one zombie make trapped. 3~6/10 - Hold zombie(s) ~10sec to 25sec - Perception area (loss of sight) = 30m from the zombie if he keep on the food Sacrifice an animal and leave the carcass: 70% to 99% (full cow carcass) chance to escape completely. 6~9/10 - Hold zombie(s) ~30sec to 5min - Perception area (loss of sight) = 20m to 15m from the zombie if he keep on the food So much for the poorest among us and to push even farther away survival in DayZ sacrificing what we most dear: food. (To push a little the idea a little further, it might be possible to mix the drink sweet and meat so that it has more effect) Uploaded with ImageShack.us
