only reason why its bad to post a video of you sniping. NOW people will have a general idea of where you might be sniping at if they notice your name on the player list.

In need of bandits/groups/clans
JuRaii replied to JaraCimrman's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
sounds like fun we'll check out our ping and apply if everyone agrees. If we all do then it's a team of 10 bandits =) coming to your server. And yes we're bandits but 3 of us are just serial killers =). Bandits kill to take stuff the 3 in our team just shoot to kill. -
what are your favorite/best tactics for banditry
JuRaii replied to TntIsCool's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Patience, Planning ahead (escape route/direction to gain cover/locations of where people might hide in a corner/roof), Never shoot on the first sight you just wait and see (predicting your targets movements) when you get ready to aim every shot counts. In a gun fight don't stay in one place. And to confuse them if you have a 2nd weapon (pistol) run to one corner fire it off a few rounds and relocate...that way your target thinks there's another player around near by. That one always works like a charm. -

Are you a bandit if you kill newspawns?
JuRaii replied to PwnCaiks101's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I've killed a newspawn only because he didn't want to bandage me so I took it from him..does that count? =) -
Hey bud I found all your dups in that server just wanted to let you know. I took my time to take everything you had and dropped it since you aren't able to pick it back up. All of it hacked weapons PDW SD/A sniper gun I've never heard of but great camo on it (not the SVD) and all your equipment =) all on the ground. STOP THE DUPS and go find legit weapons

PLAYER DUPS NOT TENTS
-
.....you people aren't reading it correctly....they weren't TENTS...it was a player dup...a standing duplication of a player...you can STUDY body and all of it was NiTro =) NOT tents it was in a glitch spot hidden.
-
I do have a fraps of a large and I mean LARGE base camp about 50+ tents with sandbags/barbed wire surroundings and each tent had only one specific weapon with a ton of mags. There was a tent full of satchel charges/tws like 20/NVG/suits everything you can think of....I got it on fraps of me blowing it up with a friend of mine...I'll find it and upload it.
-
it was all player dups...so I took off everything they had even the extra clothing and dropped it where he wasn't able to pick it back up. hacker tents I always destroy =) I don't take anything from them if I know it's been hacked in or dup. I just like pissing them off when they come back to their dups/tents and IT'S ALL GONE

1k meter=2 shots which is normal for the DMR if you get a low body shot on them. at 600m you can easily do a 1 shot if you get them right. 8k dmg per shot recoil ain't so bad as well
-
the M24 is pretty decent because you're able to zero it out but the DMR is a decent gun. I was able to hit a target 950m out with 2 shots he died...at 600m I can just 1 shot someone prone but again you have to get use to the mil dots and know how far each one is. I would suggest you look into a guide about the gun to have a better picture/understanding of the different range on each mil dot to be able to effectively use it properly. I would prefer the DMR than the M24 People complain about the DMR because they don't have the zeroing AND yes I can shoot moving targets 800m out.

Spread them out through several servers that you have quick access to and some low/med player count. One of the best places is placing them at a none loot building thats all by itself. There are several buildings that are all alone deep inland where zombies spawn that people tend to pass by because there's really nothing to loot from there. Putting them on high mountains are common so tent hunters tend to look around there or any large land mark like rocks. Best spots are the usually the areas where people pass by without looking. There's a small red house with a stone fence around it only one way in to that small area but there's nothing to loot from it so people don't bother with it. It's surrounded with other houses with LOW loot rates so it's rarely looked at. I've hid 2 tents there and it was never found for about a month till a dumb driver with a ural smashed the stone wall and saw it.....other nice spots are OUT there you just got to think about it. When you place a tent look at the map and see what near by towns are there and what path you would take to travel from one town to another. You have to draft out a map of routes people will take to get from one area to another and from there you can find out hidden places that aren't used as paths to travel on. Took me a while to make a nice map like that but it helped. So far I have 40 tents in 10 servers and none of it has been found by anyone. Another way to help is hope around servers to find where people place tents GO TENT hunting and get a general idea of where people place tents to give you a better idea of where to place yours.

So inland spawn points how about it?
JuRaii replied to electroban's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I don't think they need to fix the spawn points. Think about it you got 2 large cities at the coast line with some smaller ones near it. If people were able to spawn inland near high loot areas I think it'll kind of destroy the rarity of certain weapons and everyone will be running around with high powered rifles or having them just spawn in and camp the area. The way I think about it is coast line=novice/half way inland=advance/NW airfield=veteran(usually groups or well trained solos capable of taking down groups with their cunning skills). Think about it when you play a game you always spawn at the starting line when you die right? In other FPS games it's the same thing. Wouldn't it be unfair to have someone spawn near the NW air field and find a gun to only shoot a guy that walked all the way up there? This topic has been up a bunch of times but I honestly think it's fine the way it is. STOP QQ'in and make the trip inland if you want to find good loot or just kill snipers/bandits around the area. -
WELCOME to the bandit group =) This is why you never trust people ingame that you come across

I've murdered 110 people, I'm still alive, and i'm coming for your beans...
JuRaii replied to Xiroth's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Very nice.... Don't think I've very seen your name at the end of my cross sight.... but we will meet once at least =) Lets just hope your not like that Deaglez fellow that posted a video about his 60 kills (sniping noobs in elektro while he was sitting at the hill top) I shot him and he alt-F4 so his corpse disappeared. But you can't avoid a shot from an as50 in the head =) -
you see that piece of branch infront of you or that small little wall on the edge you're hiding behind? Yea get clear of it and then try again XD
-
hahah me I've died, shot in the head with an AS50 but all I saw was a hourglass and no death message. So i wait and he puts another bullet in my head....the bleeding starts so I wait 2 minutes log out and go to another server. I log in knocked out and bleeding. I wait it out (((((((((30minutes later))))))) I stop bleeding but it's so red I know that color of red it only happens when you DIE, you can only reach that color when it's negative. I stopped bleeding after the 30minutes but I was still knocked out BUT there was no hourglass. I was smart enough to relog and (smart move right?!?) I come back in knocked out and have to wait 20minutes! but I wasn't bleeding anymore but my blood icon was deep red blinking and my food/drink icon was blinking. BUT I'm not dead this is when it started to piss me off, I call a friend over he stabs me with an epi-pen/blood bag/morphine. I still have everything I have and back to being fully recovered. I switch servers I'm okay. GO back to my daily stuff and kill bandits lmao.

Free weapons for the wrongly murdered
JuRaii replied to Steak and Potatoes's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
not bad I about do the same but a bit different, unlike those HERO hackers that spawn a box for people in high traffic areas (don't let me find you there because I get rid of the box and players). What I tend to do is usually just kill some bandits and direct communication to any close by survivor (if your in a bandit skin/camo/ghillie I'll just end up killing you as well). When I find vehicles near tents with high powered rifles and other military supplies I destroy them and find other tents with low value rifles that people store like enfields/winchester/makarov/cz 550 and load it with the goodies I looted from other tents and bandits. SO for those of you who found new items in your tents your welcome and don't worry about it if you see some blown up tents near you I tend to destroy the other tents =). You can find me always near elektro/cherno killing snipers and bandits killing survivors/new spawns. NOTE: I use different names and never the one I'm using that I post with -
it has happened to me a bunch of times, seems like I can't die from snipers. But I do die and see the death message from close combat. I got sniped in the head with an as50 but all it showed was my broken leg/bleeding/hourglass...I was shot again because the death message didn't show that someone died yet. I waited for like 2 minutes and decide to log out and hop a server. I did and an hourglass appears again/bleeding/broken leg. The hourglass was moving REALLY SLOWLY so I waited 20minutes because I couldn't do anything else but wait. Once it was done nothing guy wasn't moving or anything and I stopped bleeding but the blood icon was deep red. I had a friend come in and epi-pen me and I was able to get up. He blood bag me/morphine and I was fine with all my gears....weird but I've seen it happen to some friends as well. But again during close range combat I usually just die and see the message.

Snipers are everywhere and NO WHERE
JuRaii replied to lucid_wolf@hotmail.com's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
follow what everyone is telling you but having some map knowledge of where snipers tend to be at certain cities and what areas are visible to them is helpful. Don't gather like a snail when you see a pile of loot don't take your time to find some ammo. Have a good memory of loot so it's easier to spot what you need and grab it without taking your sweet time. NEVER loot areas on higher ground because snipers can see you. Try to stay on the ground to loot areas once you get a weapon go hunt the snipers =) -
I have played for about 2 months and found everything at their spawns. BUT i realize after spending hours trying to find stuff that the easiest way to acquire them is to kill other players for it. REASON WHY I'M A BANDIT =)
-
Ah I had one but it had to clean out my disk for space and deleted some files that had a great vid like that one. Mine was a camo dude was about 200m from me. He killed the 2 other players who were sniping that I was going to shoot. He turns my direction and I unload a whole clip of my as50 on him to the chest BUT he keeps walking to me and laughing lmao
-
I have to admit tho I have seen some players 2-4 survivors teaming up to survive and work together. I can tell they were complete strangers because all they did was communicate in direct chat voice/type. It was fun watching them watch eachothers back and share their loot. I think I recall them splitting up ammo and being fair about the supplies. BUT it was even better watching them go into panic shooting at eachother thinking that one of them shot the other. When really it was me who shot them once so each of them gets hit and them BOOM they turn around and start shooting at eachother. The smart ones usually yell they didn't shot and it was from someone else blah blah blah. Those ones I usually just have to kill them all. BUT keep looking you might find some trustworthy players who can team up with you.
