You can make a LAN game in the multiplayer menu of arma 2, i don't think it will allow for dayz though. -

Yeah, that's because they aren't in a zombie apocalypse. Just because someone is wearing a ghillie suit that does not mean they don't want to wear a backpack even if it does slightly increase their visibility.

Dayz on arma 3 will take a very long time. In my opinion you should buy arma 2 since it's probably one of the most extensive and fun games that I have ever played, including all the great mods for such a low price compared to the 'bigger' titles. -

The ps4 will probably cost close to £500 on launch, this game, if ported, will run like shit on it. You could build a decent gaming pc for £500, which is why i don't understand why people continue to buy shit consoles instead of a much more reliable pc.

What? In a real situation like dayz staying in a group would offer the best chance of survival, if you do really agree that the game is supposed to be brutal then why are you in favor of balancing the game by taking out blood packs? If you want to play by yourself then you have to deal with this or find a group.
