Any estimate on when vehicles will be put back into the Standalone?

Vehicles were my favorite part of the mod, just wondering if Rocket or any of the devs have said anything about when they plan on re-implementing them. Once vehicles are back I'll be buying the Standalone right away. -

Even with your weapon visible it's pretty damn hard to see people in ghillie suits. Find one of the weapons with camo (the SVD has it I think) if you want to be 100% hidden. -

Thinks have to break before you can fix them :) Indeed. With computers especially, the more things you break the more progress you make. Bricking my Ubuntu partition a month ago was a sign to me that I was really learning how to use it to its full potential. Same goes for DayZ. The more Rocket adds, even if in a half broken shape, the more he is learning what will and won't work in the future. -

Cool story bro. The plural of anecdote is not data, and while there are other plausible explanations for the drop in murder rates, your personal experiences say nothing about it one way or the other. Could you possibly tell us WHY you think 1.7.1 made people more likely to kill (contrary to the numbers)? -

So I failed to start keeping track of numbers right after the patch was released, but over the last 8-12 or so hours there has been a .3% (EDIT: botched my numbers) decrease in murders per survival attempt, and by all indications it is still rising. I mentioned the following points in another thread yesterday, a thread that claimed newbies would be slaughtered mercilessly on the coast: "I've seen considerably LESS murders since the change. Newbies don't start with any items worth killing them over. And newbies that would feel inclined to go on wanton killing rampages no longer have the means. I was in Elektro last night, and saw 5+ deaths from zombies, and absolutely none from PKing. TL;DR This patch will significantly lower the murder rate if anything. You're so wrong it hurts." If someone knows of a way to get the full numbers over the last few days that would be awesome. I'll be keeping this thread updated. EDIT: Adding in the numbers I have 8:27 AM Mountain Daylight Time 6/18 4187712 survival attempts 758288 murders 18.1% of survivors die by murder 6:15 PM Mountain Daylight Time 6/18 4303561 769955 17.8% UPDATE: Murder rate now at 17.6%, we're just a little shy of a .5% decrease. Bumping to see what everyone thinks. -

[/quote'] Man the fuck up bro. I'm not "kitted out" and I still think you're an idiot. I died last night thanks to ATV physics being pants on head retarded, so I had to start again. And you know what I did? I got an AK-74u with 6 clips, two ghillie suits, an M1911 with more clips than I can count, an ALICE pack, and loads of medical supplies all within the space of an hour. This game isn't hard, honestly. YOU need to adapt to the game, quit trying to force the game to adapt to you when you clearly don't have the desire to make the effort to learn it. It's like telling FIFA they need to make the goal wider, or telling whatever organization runs cricket that it needs less damn rules. -

Servers can choose to enable/disable specific channels at will. the only particular bug I have run into with it is being on a server where some people are able to use side chat but I am not.
