The only problem with this situation is that you were shot by an M4 3 times and were perfectly fine... I've seen people survive tons of shots from an M4 and it needs to be fixed.

I know there's the blood pack option, but I'm not 100% sure what that takes. You have to get someone else's blood, a saline bag, and what else. Mostly though, I'm curious how else you can gain blood. I'm an avid DayZ mod player but don't know a ton about the standalone. Does food still regain health? Is there something else other than food (if it still does) and blood bags that can regain health? Been stuck at low blood for a very long time since I encountered a zombie early on.

Considering the focus of the game is survival, yeah finding food and water (in the beginning) is the "central element." Once you get better at the game and progress further, you'll have less issues.

So you want them to dumb down the game and make it more unrealistic because you're bad at finding loot? You're new to the game, get better at finding loot. Imagine a real zombie apocalypse (what this is based off of), there would be much LESS loot than there is in the game, so if anything the game should have less loot.

If by more loot you mean more frequently spawning loot, then I hope that doesn't happen. However frequently the loot is spawning now, is probably way more than it would be years after an apocalypse.

This doesn't mean run well on your dual 780's, it means that are actually somewhat optimized. Arma 2 is an absolute piece of shit when it comes to optimization and I could only dream of maintaining 30 fps in any mod/map for dayz I've tried even though my specs call for much better. I've tried everything you can think of when it comes to trying to get better frames and not a single thing has given me a single frame... Even messing with the in-game options doesn't change anything by any more than 3 or 4 fps. It just so happens that arma hates my exact computer setup and requires me to spend $400 on a new motherboard and intel cpu to get any sort of non-disadvantageous frames. Anyway, the only mod I can play without feeling like I'm at a complete disadvantage due to my frame-rate is dayzero. I highly, highly doubt there are any mods out there that run better than DayZero but if you guys know of any, that'd be great. I'm talking mostly about the mods listed in dayz commander and such. Or just the one that you know of that runs the best. Anything that itself has better frames because I've come to accept there's not a single thing I can do to improve my frames in anything arma online related without spending hundreds of dollars. Runs great offline, arma 3 runs great offline on high, BF3 runs at 50+ on ultra. I notice my frames vary the most based on how many people are in the server. Somehow there's something about the online aspect that (I'm assuming my cpu) just can't handle. I'm almost always between 15-25. I'd be amazed if I could ever even maintain 30 fps, because that's definitely smooth enough for me to not feel like I'm at a disadvantage. I just don't want to be losing fights just because arma is a piece of shit.

I have more footage from this session but I screwed up and got myself killed so I'm going to go pick up some more gear and get to a good spot to record and then record and upload again tonight. I think I'm going to end up doing a facecam as well, with my C920, everything's HD, I think you'll find I'm pretty entertaining and a fun guy to watch and hang with. I was pretty tired in the first breaking point session, it will be different tonight, should be quite a bit better, though I think it's still good as it is now. I'm talking gun fight/being attacked wise. I bring this up because earlier today a couple friends and I were headed towards the hospital on the west side of Cherno so we can get some supplies before we leave. We were almost there, maybe 100 meters and lots of desperate shots were coming at me, I was hit multiple times and taken down to around 300 blood. My legs were broken so I lay there bleeding on the ground as they continue to run forward to get some cover. I knew I had no choice but to bandage if I wanted to live, but I also knew that going back to being crouched severely risked me being finished off. I was able to apply the bandage, my friends said they hadn't been shot and as soon as I was dropped the gunshots stopped. We had no idea where they were and never saw them but it sounded like an assault rifle. I told the guy that had came back towards me to run away and get behind the wall as he had that "no man left behind" instinct going on, he did and I crawled over there. Me and the guy that came back to me had spawned recently so we had the new stuff you spawn with, the bandage and painkillers. We were able to loot and I had an AK74 kobra but the point is that I had no morphine. Luckily our other friend hadn't died since the new patch so he had morphine on him. He had ran farther away but made his way back to us behind the wall. I forgot to mention, by the time I had applied the bandage I was at 74 blood... not 740 not 7400, literally 74 blood. It was pretty much a miracle that I survived. I was the only one with gear really worth talking about, though I think one of them had an enfield. When I was on the ground I desperately tried to find him to return fire with my ak74 but saw nobody so I began to bandage. Once they applied the morphine to me we ran to a factory left of the wall we were behind. We were in a severe hurry to get the hell out of Cherno but we knew we had to get the blood bags, especially now that I was down to 74 blood. We continued to hear gunshots but they sounded like different ones, and farther away. We didn't run into anybody else and made it to the hospital. I was successfully transfused so we grabbed a couple more blood bags, checked out the hotels real quick and got the hell out of there. Didn't mean to make this a super descriptive story or anything, just something I thought of that I wanted to post before I go to bed. So what kind of situations some-what similar to this have you guys been in?

I HAD NO CHOICE!

So I was trying to find a server with good fps and I came across this one. This guy is teleporting to everybody on the server and trying to pick them up, at the end he teleports us to an island and gives everyone as50's, ghillie suits, etc.. He also spawns mass ATV's, good lulz.

Alright well, since a majority of the views I'm getting on this video are from this thread, that means people already know about hacking. If you're looking through the dayz forum gallery you know hacking exists. Oh look, you lose. 95% of people who see this particular video would have no idea where to even start with hacks for dayz and they probably wouldn't be able to find it out. It's not my fault people hack and it will continue to happen no matter how much you bitch and whine and blame other people. The only thing that will stop it is improved security which I hope comes soon. The jealousy is strong with this one. If you really want my AS50 and rangefinder, you can have it man, np.
