for roaming around solo or to meet up with a friend, i can't help but use the L85, now that i have it. it's a love hate thing and i have an M14 as well and still carry that around with a sniper and an M9 SD for zeds. yes, 4 guns. i feel like i still can't let the M14 go, with how much damage it does and how badass it looks. i really hate the looks of the L85 and i had someone alt f4 on me even when i unloaded 9 rounds into his back in full automatic. but that scope...

what? you think they're rare or something? i find two at a time at chopper sites. could get 6 legit AS50s in one day easily.

it's most likely RNG messing with your mind. i found 3 crashes within 500 meters the other day though. spent the last week out north raiding tents and looking for sites and i don't remember ever finding NVGs off a pilot. found them on the ground by the chopper though. maybe it was spawned there, maybe someone dropped them there.

i did give them a read and it looks like you haven't as people reported fps gains because of the fact that this game streams files from your hard drive instead of using any kind of cache. what there isn't a lot of recent info on is whether using a ramdisk is worth using over an SSD. thanks for telling me stuff i already know.

i love my M14, but that is definitely not one of its traits. it's just as loud as the enfield and that's part of the reason i like it. that sound. i find a lot of chopper crashes. i could be using a mk48, but the mix of old school styling and modern tech just makes the M14 too sexy not to use. plus my other gun is either an M24 or DMR and the ammo sharing is awesome.

too bad only the owner of the tent can save it. found a tent city on another german server. looted, destroyed it. flattened tents everywhere. next server restart it's all back.

seasons that change over time as the year goes by and clothing that provides different levels of warmth. temperature should also change the further north one goes. possibility to overheat if you wear clothing that's too warm. possibility to freeze to death if you venture too far north without appropriate clothing. allow people to craft home made alcohol to be filled in empty whiskey bottles or cans. it could make you temporarily more warm at the cost of giving you a slight chance to trip and fall and go into prone. if you drink too much, you get a fuzzy shader effect like when you're low on blood with a possibility of throwing up and depleting a large portion of your food meter. :]

also, i'm pretty sure zombies only spawn within a 200m radius of you as well.
