Humanity is meaningless. If you win enough shootouts with people that were trying to kill you, you will be a bandit. The hero one is the only skin that means that you actually went out of your way to help someone.

Yeah the pick axe will get you through most of the game. Make sure to just keep looking around the major cities for the scope attachment for the axe. If you come across a group of players with guns make sure to go and introduce yourself so they know you are not a bandit.

I would just go to the airfield. Get into the barracks and loot them. I just server hop on empty servers until I find what I want.

Run up and down the coast with a hatchet attacking newly spawned players while screaming DIE YOU BANDIT in the mic When a player says "friendly" ask them to "prove it" If you see someone get out of a car, run up and steal it. hit alt-F4 whenever someone shoots at you For a few days i was kind of pissed about people killing newly spawned players but serriously this game gets so incredibly boring it is the only thing that is fun. Zombies are not a challenge, gearing up is just time consuming not hard, DayZ just kind of turns into a glorified walking simulator at one point.

Yeah like others said, screw stealth and run like hell. Running in one way and out the other of a building works. Stay out of the major cities, it is mostly just people playing Deathmatch. If you do want to go in join an empty server first. Just run through the city and find the buildings with open doors you can run into, grab loot and run out. Once you have enough loot to make you happy just run into the forest to lose the zombies. The must haves are A hatchet box of matches hunting knife Canteen With that you can live in the forest forever.

What people are not telling you is that DayZ commander does not tell you THE time but it tells you A time, 9/10 servers you see on there have the wrong time up.

To be fair I can post 10,000 times about how friendly i am, I can still shoot you in the face if I feel like it. With that said, I can help out new people too.

I have seen buildings leveled by players. I was wondering would it be possible to level the buildings of value in cities like chern?

They need to fix the zombies a bit. Last night i was playing and I was getting away from a group of them. I was going to do the thing where you run in one side of a building and out another side. But about 1/2 way through the building they all kind of "snapped" in and there were 10 of them in there. So yeah they cannot run indoors but they can teleport.

Here is the thing, it is not the PvP so much that drives off new players it is the badits and there is a difference. Rarely will you see two fully armed and geared up people going at it. Normally all that is happening is people with sniper rifles and assault rifles killing unarmed players, that is not PvP that is just being a dick.

This is how I deal with bandits. I just stay outside a city and watch, that guy that goes around shooting everyone? That is the guy you want to kill. Yesterday I got a Kobra,water,food and a bunch of other things off 2 retards that thought they good bandits. They got in a little shoot out and basically I scared the other one off with a few warning shots, i think he was already low on healther but he was also bleeding. So right there i got to take all the loot he killed for and then all i had to do was follow at a distance and wait for him to bleed out. So I never killed anyone but got all the benifits. Stay out of the major cities unless you wanna play death match. You get a lot more done by just watching from outside the city. Why go in when the bandits will practically deliver the loot to you. Snipers are always bandits, no exceptions. If you want to kill a player for fun, kill a sniper. They are not snipin zombies up there on the hill.

1.Use flares and chemlights to throw off snipers. Throw one by the church, run to the supermarket, then throw another one near the church and go in the church. 2. Don't bother saying friendly as nobody is really going to say "not friendly". And the whole thing of saying "friendly" before they shoot you in the face is now a pretty old trick. 3. Setup a fire outside a major city and wait near it for someone to come, kill them when they do chances are they were not coming to help you with your fire. 4, If after respawn you find yourself low on blood and without gear it makes more sense to die and respawn again rather than scraping by with no gear and 5000 blood. 5. Don't bother making friends in the server and only play with people that are already your friends. No good will come of it.

You are going to be shot in the head. The last guy the "helped" me when i was new did not help me at all. He showed me where all the major cities were and helped me get a bunch of really good loot. But then when he was going to show me a "safe place" he shot me in the middle of the woods and im guessing he took all the good stuff that i picked up, This is what I have learned. If you want to stay alive stay the hell out of the places where everyone says the good loot is. You will live much longer. Guns are good for taking other players out but that is about it. The hatchet is way more practical for taking out zombies than a gun. Look at it this way, if they have a gun and you don't know them they are going to kill you.
