I followed the instructions that I found on this forum for the amazon version of the game. I installed arma 2 and arma 2 oa, ran them both, updated both of them to the newest versions (1.6), created a folder named @DayZ under arma 2 and Addons under @DayZ. I then downloaded the 7 mod file, uncompressed them using 7zip and placed them in the Addons folder under @DayZ. then I created a short cut and under properties I changed the file target to "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2oa.exe" -mod=@DayZ -nosplash I then launched arma co from the short cut I created, and joined an open server for DayZ. every time I join an open server it starts loading and then immediately exits back to the server screen and gives me this message: "You can't play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadle content that has been deleted.dayz_code, dayz_weapons, dayz_equip, dayz_vehicles" I am not really confident on how I downloaded, unzipped, and transferred the dayz mod files into the Addon folder so that may be part of the problem thanks for any help, I would really appreciate it.

never mind, I used six updater and it works great now
