Wrong. First off, to proper suppress a gunshot, the round needs to be subsonic, which means less gunpowder, so yes, a special cartridge is needed if you want a "silent" shot. Second, adding a silencer does not lower your range nor your accuracy, quite the opposite, adding a silencer is just extending your barrel, so firing a normal round would yield better range, and perhaps accuracy if your weapon is well maintained.

Dude, there's minerals in all sodas. Sodas are more isotonic than tapwater is, you should try looking it up. As a combat medic in afghanistan i always had some sodas in my rucksack to give to people if they started to dehydrate and you know why? Because they've got minerals and sugar in em, compared to the crappy Bastion water they put in their camelbags.

Melee weapons are...well melee weapons, and as such the range is...melee range.

Actually, soda is better than water for hydration, the minerals and sugar in them makes them a much better hydration source than water.

As fine as this post is, noone would let anyone get within 30 meters of eachother (unless they were suicidal). I know that if i saw someone coming towards me to check out my "stats" i'd shoot first and loot him afterwards even though im not really a bandit kinda person, im just a survivor looking out for myself.

Write all the emails you want, seriously. People got banned for hacking, its not rockets fault, its not the mod's fault, it's the hackers fault. Now this mod has been out for quite some time, and hackers have had free reigns to do all their little scripts, spawning in weapons and whatnot. Battle Eye has been neglected for soo long, most servers I've played regular arma on has had their fair share of hackers playing there as regulars, hell even in the clan i was in we had a hacker who spawned in vehicles as "Commanders benefit" whenever we got one destroyed. Suddenly, the interest in Arma 2 increases, courtesy of the DayZ mod, all the hackers old and new flock to this mod and do their stuff, annoying both the devs of the mod, BIS, and most importantly of all, the players. Out of nowhere, battle eye is suddenly updated, a glorious smiting of all the hackers who felt safe, because they'd have to be caught redhanded by an admin to get a server side ban. Now they're Global Banned, and now, people like you, and others are crying on the forums of a Mod because you're banned. Now you KNOW that if you contact Battle Eye support, they'll send you logs of why you were banned, so you wont do that. So you come to the BIS forums, and DayZ forums making up your stories about how you picked up something from a crate you found somewhere, or from a player, and now you're banned. Seriously SUCK IT UP, stop whining about being banned, accept the consequences (spelling) of your actions. Stop trying to defend the kids who troll around trying to abuse the Moderators and the Devs in here, shut up, fall back in line, buy a new game and grow the fuck up.

I don't like this idea, when you're dead, you're dead, you messed up somehow and you should not be able to be miraculously (spelling) revived from a gunshot to the head by getting defibbed. Defibrilators are useless in a gunfight, also useless afterwards. People who die from gunshots go into Asystoli (in danish latin, should be the same in english latin), either from bloodloss, trauma, or injury to your CNS, which is a condition where your heart has stopped completely, defibrilators are useful when you have ventricular tachycardia..look it up I can't be arsed to explain it here. and n4ndoz, lets not talk bullet extraction, most rounds in this game are high velocity rounds that go through the body, if anything cleanout of the woundtract should be implanted in the game to prevent infections and bloodpoisoning :). I could also just take the buttstock on my rifle and smash the window, pistolwhip it, or just plain kick it out... Bottomline is, you dont need a special tool to get into a car, if anything you need a screwdriver to start it, but thats it.
