Balota has end-game loot ATM, so there is no reason to get your M4A1 north, cuz you can get it in Balota aswell.

Blood will go up when it says 'Healty' where it says hunger/thirst it will only be there if you eat, drink & rest more than enough the helmets provide a (small) protection bonus. Though, I am not completely sure that has been implemented yet

I'd go with Elektro, great loot & I know my way around.

Well, at the moment the zombie grunting noises carry over great distances and the same goes for opening cans 'n stuff. Anyway, it is a bit of both. Bugs playing random noises and sounds carrying way to far.

Wait to small? The bags are huge! Of course a mountain bag would contain more than it does in this game, but really? you want to make this even bigger. Right now, with a moutain bag you can survive 3 full days if carefully stocked.
