Not always, but in my experience most of them do when they can. Try to express your friendly purpose -What changed from the mod? Map, items. Not to much but its better (and keeps getting better) -I see people saying they won't go to the north until Balota problems are fixed, what are these problems? Balota has end-game loot ATM, so there is no reason to get your M4A1 north, cuz you can get it in Balota aswell.

Blood will go up when it says 'Healty' where it says hunger/thirst it will only be there if you eat, drink & rest more than enough the helmets provide a (small) protection bonus. Though, I am not completely sure that has been implemented yet

I'd go with Elektro, great loot & I know my way around.

The idea is good, but I believe that 'hordes' will take this role upon them. but good thinking! Still, I think this could easily work & be implemented in the future ^^
