Hello everyone, My friends and I decided to start a server on DayZ. Specially on Lingor Island. We were tired of Admin Abuses and Hackers and you get the story. What we currently offers is - nothing actually. You can come over and do your stuff. We're seeking for fun and entertaining players, I was hoping to make some special events sometimes. Example : I'll hide a tent somewhere in x city, with some random loots and let the hunt begins. At the very moment, we don't have much mods/scripts activated. We have installed ; Sarge AI Self Blood Bag Tow/Lift Wardrobe Smelt Debug Monitor And others that I might have forgotten.. I am also looking for someone that is experienced with PBO files as well, I am not able to install the Base Building addons and add some Ural Repair/Refuel that I've seen on other servers (Lingor Island). Anyways, I hope that some of you are actually interested in our little server. It is a 50 slot hosted by DayZ.ST. It's Day Time only at the moment, but might drop Full Moon sometimes in some hunt events, I am still not sure about that yet. I agree on that point, specially the range.

I've seen a video, seems like you can control them just like in Minecraft. It was a short preview though. Anyways, we'll see when Rocket will release the next patch.

God knows how many headshot I had with an Hatchet on Zombies so far. I know melee isn't the best in the mod right now and it is dangerous. But it did saved my ass so many time vs. Zombies (and some bandits) on the field without loosing that much blood. Of course, I would rather choose a gun but when you don't find one.. ^^

OP, just saying. This is not a huge secret, that is common. Mostly, server hopping. - I wonder what is most unfair method here ; Camping or Camp/server hopping? You might hate these snipers, but your way of doing it isn't quite beautiful either.

The thought of using a machete would be awesome. We already have Hatchet and Crowbar (never tried using it as melee). So I guess just by doing a re-skin it could work some what. Seems like the Hatchet and the Crowbar's hitbox are the same under the skin anyways. But like Tweakie said, Katana, wouldn't be a good fit inside the mod. As in, it doesn't fit the area where we are located. Maybe some baseball bat around but that isn't my kind of cup.
