We don't try reason with bandits. We just dish out retribution! :D
-
Yes 6 of us headed down to Elektro last night but with the intention of killing the snipers and bandits that where killing the fresh spawners. We left the new spawns alone and just watched their positions using them more like bait. We only kill fresh spawns if they get within 100m-200m and we give them a warning before lighting them up.

Usually we have a shoot on site policy but seeming as this one complied with our orders we rummaged through his bags and took what supplies we needed. Thanks for the compliment, the photo/screen shot was taken by one of our clan and captions added by myself. Hopefully have more in the future.

No it's not battlefield but it is however a military simulation game no matter what you say. The same roles still apply as you need people to repair and take out vehicles, medics etc -

Day 2 Report Outlaws on the battlefield are: WrigerZ, Nick Stone, Japan4, Digity, Hunter, SuspectMammal, Chris and myself (Bish) This skirmish lasted around 9 hours and operations went way in to the early hours of the morning. For this reason I've decided not to publish a step by step report of our movements due to I'd be here for ever. Instead some highlights from me and anyone who came out on the mission is welcome to add any parts they want to mention. 05:13 After hours of travelling and supply gathering we headed down to the north west airfield in the early hours of the morning. After searching the west barracks we decided to move in towards the fire station and air control tower. There is a high presence of zombies across the airstrip near the tower so we are aware someone may be in the area. 05:15 Digity moved along through the forrest on the west side of the airfield which is on the other side of the landing strip to the building we where targeting (air control tower). Meanwhile Hunter and myself fall back the the perimeter wall to the south and use this as cover to cross the landing strip on the lower south of the vicinity undetected. 05:19 Digity radios in to tell us he is standing by opposite the control tower. Hunter and myself make our way up towards the woods to the east side (behind the hangers) of the airfield. On route we constantly scan and check the airfield. 05:20 Contact spotted. While scanning with my thermal I notice a small heat signature just poking out of the door and the foot of the control tower. It's on! 05:24 After overmatching for several minutes to see if this survivor was alone we came to the conclusion he was operating by himself. He hadn't moved from the ground floor of the tower but had now fallen back inside and no heat signature could be seen. 05:25 Heat signature spotted again through a window pointing back out towards the main door again. Taking advantage of the positioning of Digity he crosses the airfield. Although Digity is approaching from what would seem the most exposed area crossing over the open landing strip it is also the side left uncovered and unseen from the ground floor of the tower. Hunter and myself with thermals and cover are able to provide him with instant information of his surroundings. 05:27 The target backs away from the door once more and heat signature is lost temporarily. Digity finds a ladder on the airfield tower and climb up to the roof, then back down on to floor 1 (upstairs) of the control tower and stands by. 05:28 Target heat signature re-appears pointing out the door way (this means his back is to the stair well with Digity upstairs standing by). Now is the time to move and by hell does Digity move. On receiving information that the target is downstairs and unaware of Digity's presence. He moves down quickly and swiftly with no hesitation and takes the target out. A quick a swift action results in the target being taken out with no prior knowledge to our presence until he was dead. Upon searching the body 6 Stanag mags were retrieved and we also found another sniper corpse on site with 12 Stanag mags. We got ammo boys!!! -

DAY 1. OPERATION: LOVE BUS Rendezvous point was set at Mogileka at 20:00 and a small mix of Outlaws from various squads headed from the coast to meet with WrigerZ who had already earlier that day secured a bus by killing 2 survivors and causing another 2 to flee. WrigerZ had also stumbled upon an enemy camp with enough supplies to load up the bus and supply the rest of us with firearms and ammunition. Myself (Bish), Nick Stone and Japan4 all rendezvoused with WrigerZ just south of Mogileka. At this point Nick & Japan4 had to leave us and WrigerZ and myself headed towards the enemy camp to stock up on further supplies. After the love bus lost a tire on a hazard in the road on route we were forced to continue on foot. On arrival at the camp we found a variety of stored equipment, firearms included: x2 L85's with Thermal/NV x1 .50cal x1 M4 SD WrigerZ then received a radio call from a friend (Phil) who was close to our crashed bus several miles back but he had a broken leg and was going in to shock. We left some equipment at the tents with the intension of returning for it later. We doubled timed back to the bus to find Phil near some power lines. WrigerZ administered morphine for the broken leg and performed a blood transfusion and managed to stabilise Phil. We then headed back to the tents so Phil could gear up. We then headed north to Stary Sobor to pick up some basic supplies from the store, bags, maps and pistol ammunition. After a brief stop WrigerZ secured and overwatch position from the hillside overlooking the near by military barracks. Phil and myself raided these barracks acquiring various supplies and firearms. We then headed north west to the airfield where we would spend the night. Lucky on route we acquired a dirt bike. I rode bitch on the back and WrigerZ zipped and winded us closer to the insertion point while Phil followed up on foot providing cover if needed with the .50cal. After a safe insert in to the airfield we held position for the night. -

We haven't got officially yet may be getting our own in due course, but do you have any suggestions for a server to use in the meantime? -
I may be up for doing this, having only started playing just over one week ago the memory of my first kill is still fresh. I also am currently setting up a platoon/troop of multiple squads to try take these waste lands for our own. It may possible be arranged for you to come out on a mission with us and interview some of our troops. For more info about The Outlaws DayZ clan visit our website. http://www.dayzoutlaws.enjin.com/

In response to 'The_Albatros' Yes it is an ambitious task we face setting up an entirely functioning platoon/troop but it should work out over time. With the stand alone version of this game coming out we are setting up this clan now so as we can perfect it over the next few months. This way we can get better working together and weed out the people who don't conform to the gaming style we want to adopt and can find players who are happy to repeatedly play with The Outlaws. (Hope this answers your concerns). Sounds like you would be a vital asset to our engineer squad. Have you signed up with our website? We have some debate over our structure but the engineer unit is going to remain as is so no worries there. -

Knoble enough if all you want to do is serve, I would follow your heart and do what area you would prefer regardless of what other people think. No parent in the world wouldn't worry under that situation, and if they didn't that would be a much worse situation to be in. Up to you Nick about weapons, if you wold rather F.O.O or Snipe for a different squad then just shout up in our forums on the website. -

OK great to hear it Nick, Get registered with our website and we'll sort out putting you in to a squad and working around differences in timezones. If your strong point is stealth then it may be good to put you in Delta as long as you have the required weaponry to be allowed in. Cheers -

Hi Timmymachine, Good to have your interest in our clan, sounds like you could contribute a lot. I quite like the idea of the x2 separate sniper teams. I originally planned the 5 man teams so as if needed the Sniper and F.O.O could be detached from their squad on secondary mission objectives but maybe the possibility of having these operate as a separate team may work well. Join up with our website and we can discuss more. As we are trying to form each squad we can still make tweaks and changes and because your in early enough I'm sure we can sort out putting you as I.C or 2nd I.C of a squad. I wish I was still at uni with ALLLLL day to play games. I'm 27 and in full time work. Do my best to get on a much as possible tho. -

Well your welcome to fill in our registration form on our website with your times of availability. I and a lot of my clan I know in real life all work full time jobs, so events will be made around peoples time tables. Also if you only play casual we may put you in a squad who has someone missing on that night. We will always try fit you in somewhere ^^ -

Sounds great Icharus, Sign up via our website and we have a questionnaire where you can enter you time of availability. We are a newly forming clan, based with some core members who game together or various military games. What 'weird' hours do you manage to play? -

Timezone is UK. As we are putting together several squads we are looking at multi national members so different squads can function at different times via our forums. All we ask is fluent English so communications between squads is clear. Availability is not strict but priority may be given to more active players if we fill up completely. (This is very unlikely to happen and we would consider expanding more squads if it did). I hope this helps
