We're a UK based clan. We welcome all nationailities as long as they're able to get online when the majority of our events are. Weekends we play all throughout the day or at least certain squads will be so that's another option to just join on weekends. Let me know your thoughts Cheers

The Outlaws DayZ Clan Now recruiting! We are a clan that adheres to military style tactics and discipline We currently recruiting new members to The Outlaws, our goal is to have a fully functioning unit comprising of x4 squads of x5 men in each conforming to our squad structure (see our clan forums). Here is a breakdown of each squad: ALPHA - TASK FORCE ONE This is The Outlaws primary unit, Alpha will be the spearhead squad in the field. Their job is to seek and track survivor bandit terror cells and their camps, neutralise the enemy at all costs and destroying of their equipment and supplies. Anything that could be of use to The Outlaws should be commandeered. BRAVO - TASK FORCE TWO If you fancy yourself as a bit of a hero this is the unit for you. Bravo is The Outlaws supporting unit, you will sweep along side other squads preventing enemies from flanking during their key objectives. You will be called upon by other squads as backup and will be responsible for assisting and getting to the conflict ASAP! You will need good navigation and communication skills. You will be involved in most large or important missions. You will need to be handy with a weapon as you will find yourself being called to dangerous areas frequently and will need to be cautious whist getting to the conflict zone. CHARLIE - ENGINEERS Fancy yourself as a tactical driver? Maybe a even a pilot? Then Charlie is where it's at. Your primary missions will be to raid garages and hangers to gather as many vehicles for The Outlaws as possible. You will be responsible for dropping squads in to their area of operation and making sure your their for their safe extract after the mission. You will often be driving through 'hot' areas and will see a lot of action. You will also be called upon to take out other survivors vehicles so you will also need to gather explosives on your travels. DELTA - SILENT OPERATIONS It's time to get you sneaky beaky on! When large forces of enemy are holding our troops off it will be Deltas job to get in their un-detected whist other squads hold their attention. You will use ONLY silent weapons if you choose to join this squad. You will be a master of stealth and will have extreme patience waiting on stand by to move on a target. Night vision or thermal scopes will be advantageous as a lot of your primary missions will probably be assigned at night. The Outlaws seeks a clan or clans to battle over this weekend. We have our own server which will be locked especially for the event. Here's the basic outline for the event: A VIP will be placed in the air control tower of the North West airfield. He will be wearing camo clothing and carrying only a side arm. Your team has 1 hour to eliminate the VIP to successfully achieve the mission before he is extracted from the airfield. Terms: You must start the mission from one of the surrounding towns. You cannot spawn in near the airfield. No Outlaws will be in these towns but once you leave the perimeter treat everything as hostile. You cannot 'ghost' so no logging out and going to the air tower in another server and coming back in. You will be kicked and banned and if it continues to event will be shut down. No Thermal AS50s or hacked in weapons. Again players using this weapon will be kicked and banned. More info to follow please express any interest.

We're a mix of bandits and survivors. As far as numbers we will tailor it to how many you have/we have so that it's fair. Defenders may have 1 or 2 more and we can also do a mission reversal so both teams get to attack and defend.

It's all lies from Delta in afraid as far as killing 'Bish'. I was all for this event but it seems people are just going to create profiles with the same name tag then kill their friend and take a screen shot. Thing is this screen shot doesn't even match my current in game name which is [ODZ] BISH $1000 also the weapon on the twitpic is not what I am currently using. Other factors: I have not been online in the past 24 hours, I have not been near Stary Sabor since last weekend. I can't see how this event can be regulated unless you make users join a certain server at a certain time so there are also other bounty hunters to play witness to weather or not the kill was legit. And the hunted can confirm they are in the same sever. Otherwise this event is simply just going to be to find out the persons tag, make a profile with their mate, kill them and take a picture. It's a shame it has come to this in week 1 ! I loved the idea of this event but it seems people would rather lie for a fake online currency to get a leader board than actually come at me and actually try kill me. I hope this problem can be resolved as our clan would love to stay part of this but I'm afraid if this keeps up we won't bother in future. I'll hold my hands up 100% when/if someone takes me out but at the moment Delta are lying to you and the whole community of legit bounty hunters. Delta apologies if you have tagged someone else with the name Bish but I doubt it as it isn't a common tag name. It just seems far to much of a co-incodenced and seems more like a lie. The rest of you can make of this as you want.

When you have successfully installed windows when you turn your mac on you need to hold down the 'alt' key until it gives you the option to boot up in either OS or Windows. That confused me for a few minutes :P

I was wondering if anyone else out there designs custom mission briefs or reports for their clan or friends. If so I'd love to see some you have done. This is a document I made for a friend who is starting dayZ next weekend for the very first time. It's a simple mission brief so he can work out what he needs to do before even spawning and gives him somewhere instantly to be heading towards. Please let me know what you think. I also run DayZ through bootcamp on an Imac. You just need to buy a windows 7 disk & key then go to your spotlight and type in 'bootcamp' and follow the on screen instructions. Failing that just google it. There's tons of support out there. Took me an evening to get it sorted but well worth it. Don't be put off mac users this game runs like a dream on mac.

We are a UK based clan so this works perfect. However we do recruit people from all over the globe and long as they are able to speak fluent English then we're happy for them to join too.

Hi Box, I have now visited and read your website including the hits targeted on my team. We aren't going to come easy that's for sure! Yes I have taken this in spirit intended and am not offended. Us Outlaws are used to living with bounties on our heads.

I'll admit there is a g36 in the picture (the one behind the speech bubble) and I did try to block it out as not to promote un-legitamate weapons. I tend not to pick them up myself but that's my choice. How ever when we kill players or raid camps we do come across them and if someone wants to pick them up that's their call. As long as they aren't hacking them in personally then I don't have a problem. I don't like clan members using thermal as50s even if they find them just because of the major disadvantage it puts on other players so we request they are left where we find them.

We jump around different servers depending on how many people we have online and how much trouble we're out looking for. We do have a home server with a base but I'm not just going to reveal this information publicly for obvious reasons.

Urm....Are you looking at the same picture? Everyone is firing in to the space between each point of the diamond formation we are in. This situation ended fine for us.

I was going to place a satellite image of the base in this thread but rather than be put on some terrorist suspect list I've decided against it. Glad you've heard of the boathouse tho. ;)

I think logging in/out within towns and villages should not be allowed to help combat this problem. Also a 30 second log out time should apply to try and combat the alt f4 tactic. Basically your character will sit there for 30 seconds even if you alt f4. Basically to stop people exiting the game when they're starting to loose a fire fight.
