To people blocking doors with tank traps

If you are seeing entire buildings or rooms being blocked off, it is most likely a group of people farming whatever drops inside that location. Happens often in Firehouse's. What people do is block the entrance off in multiple servers and jump from server to server grabbing whatever drops. Using the blockades to make sure that people don't take the loot... its cheap tactic.... -

As a person who loves being a bandit. I will say this I'm not there to ruin your experience I am there to make it more immersive. I don't care what you have on you or how long you have been playing. I am here to cause chaos. I am here to make the world just a little harder for everyone. I dont die and run to try and kill people over and over. I take my time to find weapons and ammunition to aid me in my quest of purging the world of humanity, I do my best to survive in the world just like everyone else. I just choose to eliminate everyone but myself and my crew. I like the think if it this way. I'm purging the world of lesser human survivors so that my guild will be the rulers of the world. Creepy mentality yes, unrealistic in an apocalypse type situation not at all. So. don't like me RPing a psychotic cult ruler bent on purging the world of impurities. That's fine don't play on any servers I'm on. problem solved. -

Players need to get over the whole bandit thing. IRL anyone could turn and shoot you, in game anyone can turn and shoot you just deal with it. So sick of people trying to measure trust with a bar or a skin... Find friends band together work together, problem solved. -

Like i stated in one of the other threads. Without some sort of obstacle in game that requires players to work together, you wont see strangers working together. Its as simple as that. Jack up the Zombie count in large cities like Cherno or at Military bases to force players to be grouped because they have to take out zombies to move in. Right now humans are more dangerous then zombies so you are actually more likely to see people group up to take out bandits then to take out zombies. which is why coop is broken -

Someone may not be a threat now. But they maybe a threat later. Shoot on site. I have tried helping strangers and it always ends poorly for me. So until they make the zombie count high enough to require players to work together to take them out, I will not be trusting anyone but my close friends. -
Have a couple of guild mates around 3-5 days right now. with over 50-60 hours in game time during those days so far. I'm more of a rambo then they are thou so mine is around a day or two.

Game needs more incentive to team up

Easy fix. Set Zombie counts in major cities to extremely High. Make Zombie contact in large towns like Cherno unavoidable. This will force players to have to work together to get into larger towns to cash in on whatever the town may hold. Currently in game humans are way more dangerous then zombies. This imbalance causes there to be less coop and more pvp. Large cities should be something that only groups of people working together should be able to enter. They may have to increase the ammo drop rate but would really need to be tested. -

Fains Servers have been fantastic. [LF] has made NY8 our home and we are enjoying every moment. Fain is an amazing admin. Always making sure the server is working properly and up at all times. -
Does the infection system actually work?

we have on in our group infected we were grouped up for over 4 hours together in close proximity. None of us ever caught the infection. -
Does anyone know If I place a tent on Server (A) then go to Server (B) and die will the Tent in Server (A) reset after 2 days?

with moon crazy bright. with no moon still bright but you wouldn't have the hard casted shadows like you normally would with a moon.

After testing these settings out repeatedly and playing for awhile with them on normal and with the Brightness/Gamma/HDR I can say that the game is definitely more difficult and for some more immersive. But The lighting in the world at night is not even close what it is like in real life. For those of us who grew up out in the country away from light pollution of cities you all know very well that on a clear night you can see everything, almost as if it were day light out. Running with the B/G/H setup is pretty close to how the night should actually be. Not exact, but close. So to each his own I guess. I still really enjoy running the default settings but I know that if the server is full at night and I'm moving into a high population area with known bandits, I will most likely be using the B/G/H setting because odds are they are too.
