I didn't mean he's had that date for weeks now I just meant maybe he wants a soft launch so undercover of a triple A title would be a good idea, but clearly the SA needs a lot more testing. It hasn't even be tested with over 100 players yet it seems.

I think he's either genuinley saying that it's not quite ready, or he's wanting to release it on november 5th and he's trying to provide a soft launch. I belueve he said he wanted to release during a triple A release and doesn't COD: Ghosts release this tuesday?

Thought more people would have replied to this. I'd never used Reddit before dayz but two months ago I started using it, it's got a lot more discussion and information than the forums. I really hope the overall lighting is better in the SA, I do not like it in Arma 2! -

I miss manuals that I can sit on the toilet and read... More to the Point presentation and first appearances matter! I would like to see them work on the menu screens and especially the UI visuals for the SA. -

Damn dean just posted on reddit "Actually I just stole that map from google. I have no idea if it is from ArmA2 or DayZ. I wonder if they will or whether they'll release it and fix on the fly? Guessing they'll test it with at least 120 players until they release. -

Due to all the testing and updating today and then Rocket posting that image, I'm guessing they'll be done with the bubble now. They kept failing on version 27 on the server but after a while they sorted it and have been playing for hours on a stable version 27. -
[SA] A power station that could be kept running to supply power

Right well this might be a stupid idea but I was thinking it would be cool if there was like a powerstation that could be kept running by players on a server to supply the map with electricity, now if there's no one running it then the whole map doesn't have power. That means cities and towns with no lights. I think it'd be a great mid-end game venture. Heroes could attempt to keep it going, scavengers could try and get spare parts and bandits could try and take it! Anyway probably a stupid idea but what do you think? -
