Sorry guys, I'm as hyped as you haha However the servers will probably crash on release and they're going to need to start fixing stuff on day 1, that's why most games release on a tuesday now days I believe!

They need to be able to work on it straight after release, they don't get paid to do that at weekends.

Question about dayz and frame rate.

I believe that Arma is Pretty CPU dependent! That's a CPU with a little age to it now, it would gave been a better bet to upgrade the CPU. Plus you would have been better off saving a bit more for the GTX660 or 660Ti. However the game isn't fully optmised either. -

Release next tuesday, They've just updated steam DB like 8 times in an hour which seems to me like description/pricing/photo stuff, I think he may be so glad it's finished he posted this. He's probably pretty ecstatic if my theory is correct!

I can't wait to get back in to a vanilla Dayz setting with the new inventory, loot system, clothing, restraints and graphical updates! Hoping that I spend my first few hours with a Mosin and one bullet or something, a couple of cans of food+drink and a compass. Going to be so funny watching these people who play starting loot/gear fall into despair.

We pretty much knew a dev blog would be useless whatever any one pessimist says, if testing goes well then it'll be out before December. We know it won't release till at least next tuesday but probably the tuesday after next. So we can just chill in happiness :P
