I honestly just purchased Arma II last night with the expansion, and installed DayZ because... Well, everyone's been harassing me about it. Loading it up using DayZ Commander and viola! I apparently am stuck in what's called a spawn glitch. I have not even managed to take 1 step or play for even a second because I'm apparently bleeding out or in shock or whatever the fuck stupidity happen. Anyway, I'm stuck in a screen with an hourglass that does... Well about as much as the mod, nothing. I can't access the game menu by pressing escape, or more accurately, the keyboard does not work in game at all. I've tried several "support" tips such as reinstalling the game, redownloading the game, uninstalling the mod, reinstalling the mod, using a different version, and an assortment of other fail techniques that produce zero results. I am trying to be patient because the mod is in alpha... But this is simple infuriating. I'm just at wits end with this and I've already messaged steam about getting a refund because I have no use for a shitty PC shooter in it's current stand alone state and I only purchased it with the intent of playing the mod, but that's a non issue here. I just need an out. I honestly want to punch the developer in the face mainly because this is a fucking MASSIVE bug that's not being address. Stop patching stupidity and banning people and get your ass in gear, jackass. So does anyone have a fix? Or a solution? I'm even fine with being killed because I haven't done a damn thing yet! Apparently that's the only real fix but I can't access ingame chat because the game just... won't let me.
