There are loads of cool people here, so just feel like home. I advice you to check out the "Private Hive" Section to find a suitable server for you to live on. (My recommendation is Balota Buddies, very great server moderated by proper moderators. Although it got some requirements it's definitely worth it.)

I don't think EA / Activision would get their hands on DayZ anytime soon. Quote from Rocket: "I am making a game that people can enjoy, I don't do it for money" (Not 100% correctly quoted, but along the lines of.) I doubt Rocket will be selling DayZ to EA / Activision when he knows for sure it will ruin the game. Of course, EA / Activision might offer a hefty sum with their rich asses, hopefully Dean sticks to the right choice. As for whether DayZ will be better/worse on console, that's all up to how Dean wants it to be. If you look at the game "Terraria", there will be no more updates for it on the computer version (Currently at 1.1) and it was released for Xbox not long ago. The Xbox version got more bosses, more items, etc, so right now I'd call it the superior of those two. This can very well happen to DayZ too, but nobody can say for sure yet.

You die and get it all again. No but really, when you got all that gear you've got multiple choices; - Kill yourself. - Waste all your ammo on infected. - Bundle up and give out gear to new people. - Lots of other stuff.

There's loads of views on this case, it's like sexual intercourse, sometimes it's great to do alone while other times you just need more teammates. I have been going Lone Wolf (Including real life) ever since the first day, the first time I ever had a team was when I first joined Balota Buddies. Lone Wolf makes it much easier in my opinion, you get to pick choices self, you don't need to rely on a group plan or rely on your group for that matter. I remember this one time I entered Elektro, some stupid people were talking over Side Chat planning out routes and such. These three people communicated like there were only those three here, so I decided I'd teach them a lesson. They were looting the Fire Station furthest west, one on the roof and two inside. I climbed up the ladder, put a bullet in his head, climbed down and speedwalked my way over to a bush. Sat laughing for 30 seconds looking at the two other guys stressing around and being shocked on Side Chat. They split up looking for me, I killed the other guy which had an m4, didn't have time to loot it though. Only me and the last guy left, I wanted to have some fun. He was running around looking for me and I was just stalking him, watched his every move. I cut him off through a turn, peeked over a half-broken wall and nailed a bullet into his kneecap leaving him stranded with zombies around him. Slowly looking at him getting hit, I aimed down the iron sights and shot him right in the face. (TL;DR, 1v3 = Me Win) Lesson here is, with wise play one single player can win over a team of multiple geared people.
