Most likely infinite after some minutes. But what I was about to say is, whatever you do, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT! exit the game in the middle of a loading screen. It will, guaranteed, teleport you to the coast, most of the time with your gear. What you can do is to minimize the game and start another .exe of it, and join another server to see if it works that way. If, and when you get in on another server, then you can exit the other .exe which was stuck at the loading screen. This have worked perfectly fine for me every time I stuck myself loading, but be careful tho, cause I've heard of some people being banned from servers for server hopping.

I had just reached Rog Por, and was happily looting it out while scouting out my next goal. I consumed a can of drink, and heard what I thought sounded like an echo of it. Not sure what it was, I slowly walked down the cold stone stairs to investigate. Knowing I've had bad relations with every player so far, I was scared that this would be my end. Looking down towards a lonely survivor looting where I had just been, I had only one decision; to kill him before he killed me. I aimed down the iron sights of my AKM, zeroed to what I thought would be the right amount, not that it would matter at that length. A slight movement from him, and I pulled the trigger, with a high bullet sound hitting the hard rocks behind him. Not wanting to risk my life, I shot him at least ten times. "Appeared he died from..." what did he die from? My choice of survival, or the fact that I had one goal, to survive? I finished up my doings, and left the place, stepping over the dead body of a long lost survivor, with blood flowing down the cold stairs to the end of the room.

PvP will always be just an addition. I've been backstabbed enough to know that you should never trust anyone, whatever they say. How you decide to play this game is up to you, but honestly, I find zombies a bigger obstacle than players, because when you learn to scout out places before you run in, then you learn to survive against people.

That does make much more sense at the moment. It also make sit a bit harder to be able to have multiple primaries/secondaries in the bag. Thanks for clearing that out for me :)

I actually thought Coyote is the one you spawn with, but I must have mistaken the name completely?

I like the Czech because of the camo, really useful in some places.

I've found two tents so far, and it's basically the only thing I have any need for right now, beside a four-wheeler, of course :3 I wasn't aware that Cayote backpacks are better, so I ignored one when I saw it. I now do regret my life. I seem to not find weapons I need, too. I've found a couple military grade weapons, but it seems like I find more grenades than useful weapons, to be honest. I currently have two grenades in my backpack, in which case I plan on using them if I'm downed beside someone with an axe going crazy on me. I'm not dieing without taking anyone with me anymore.

It's quite possible a misplace of files. I suggest uninstalling any Arma 2 Files you have so far, reinstall Steam, then install both games again. Hopefully this works.

Yup, this have been posted loads of times, but I'm still curious. It gets stuck at the black screen with "Loading" on it, this happens on only some servers. It does happen on servers with the same version, beta patch, or whatever, so that can't be the problem. So I'm wondering, is there anyways to fix this, or do I basically have to wait until the patches in the future fix it? I'm tired of having to spawn on the coast due to this bug.

I tried James_D80's tip, and it worked perfectly. I advice everybody to do that if you stumble upon this problem. Just found out that my main server got closed, had a tent full of epic weaponz and stuffz D:

The only thing we can do at the moment is to just wait for a patch that will fix it. I believe it occurs from Items, Buildings or Props which miss collides with the ground or other objects, to then cause a huge holographic version.

I suggest doing "Open Backpack" on the backpack you want, then transfer ALL of your items in the current backpack you have over to the one you want, for then so to pick it up. If it's a lot of gear around it, it should still be possible to target over the backpack in the "Gear" menu, and press the Right arrow, like with every other item.
