Must be overheating. If you're using a laptop it's a common problem. If it's a desktop then you should try cleaning the fan for dust and such.

Definitely stick to private servers. Public servers are mostly for randomness if you're REALLY bored.

Above post is a good example on pictures not to post. There is no such thing as a landmark there which makes finding out where it is impossible. -
Nobody read that helicopters might work something like in TOH in the Standalone, I guess. TOH makes it more advanced, and honestly, helicopters arent OP. You can find camps and crash sites easily, yeah, but maintaining the helicopter, keeping it hidden, refueling it, all that takes work too (especially when youre only one person) All in all it´s not OP.

Overlooking Vybor from the north-west ish? -
I'm trying to find my friends server on DayZ Commander but it wont show up. I have checked filters, nothing set, total servers found is 4542. For some reason, I can't find the server even tho I have the EXACT same DayZ version and Arma build, and I have the exact name (tried searching a keyword, still found nothing) So, my question is, is something major wrong with Commander or is it settings on the server that needs to be changed?

Well, he cant click on the server in DayZ Commander because it doesn't show up in DayZ Commander. I'll tell him to try windowed and see if it says on the top. -

Zerokiwi, I'm talking about DayZ Commander here, not the actual Arma screen.. I only have the IP, to add a server to favorites on Commander you need IP:Port/Host, he can't find the Port/Host. Filters are defualt, max ping is off. -

It may not be your type of game. Some people really enjoy the atmosphere, I do, but some may not. Edit: oh and, I go lonewolf most of the time, never had a proper group, and Ive enjoyed this mod to bits. -

I've wanted to hop into mapping in DayZ but honestly, I can't find any tools to do the job. Any of you out there that knows any programs that can be used to create maps?
