I ran around with my backpack full once, they're not too bad.

Having multiple characters would make it easy to survive. You can have many different characters if you play on private hives, one character per private hive.

OP got 99 problems and file size is one.

One player comes and cleans the supermarket for every food and drink he finds, logs out and never logs in. This is a horrible idea, this makes servers only playable for a week then every supply needed to survive will be gone from the world.

Protip: Don't write text in plain black. Anyways, welcome to the forums, DayZ is a blast when you first start with it, I still remember my first days when I had no idea what stuff did and to nobodies surprise died from zombies because I didn't know the controls. Check the Private Hive section and find the server that fits your needs, after that you can just have fun and enjoy life.
