If it's bound to the GUID then I believe you have to enter the vehicle before it shows. You did enter the vehicle?

I know you're not a total noob, but did you check to make sure the file actually was added in the server files? Database, all that stuff? Don't take me on the word, I'm no professional guy. I did skinning for Counter-Strike: Source and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, but never tried for DayZ.

I can't imagine this being any fun at all? Surely, if you wanted combat and vehicles only you'd play actual Arma?

This is why I never join private hives where I don´t know / talk with the admins regularly. Idiot kids.

On this server some time ago a hacker teleported behind me and started shooting at me with an AS-50. I started zig-zagging and made my way over to him, just a couple of feet away and shot him with my double-barrel. Of course, he had godmode on so I couldn't damage him. He then said, after at least two mags missing me; "Hey, wanna team up? I know you're hacking." I had no idea what he was talking about, while I was writing he shot me in the head with the AS-50 and I didn't lose any health at all. I expected him to have activated some hack on me, but who knows. I later stood beside him, writing to him then just a random explosion appeared underneath me and I flew some feet away. He had placed a Satchel Charge under me. Then, we decided to have a little fun before I logged off so he placed four Satchel Charges under me and made me fly away. I have yet not hit the ground.

Might have been a missing file on installation. Try reinstalling it and make sure you follow the steps exactly how they are written. Try to apply a build manually before updating with DayZCommander.
