Thunderbolt (DayZ)

I normally play with a group of 5 but 2 of them had to get off so the 3 of us decided to head to the NW airfield. About 2000M away from the airfield i saw a helicopter crash site so we decided to check it out, it was unlooted and we were stocking up on ammo and gear, when out of nowhere a hacker spawns and shoots myself and one of my squadmates with a silenced LMG, and my 3rd squad mate aborted ASAP. If I was a new player I wouldn't mind but I had ALOT of good gear: My Gear: Guns: AS50, M16A2, M9 Ammo: 5 rnds M107, 5 rnds Stanag, 3 rnds M9 Full Tooolbelt except for NVG's 5 cooked meat 3 blood bags A jerry can Morphine Ghillie suit Bandages Coyote Backpack And tons of food and drinks My Friend: Guns: FN FAL, 45 ACP Ammo: 4 rnds FAL, 5 rnds ACP Full toolbelt except for rangefinder 4 cooked meat morphine blood bag Ghillie suit alice pack bandages Also alot of food and drinks So not only did we lose 2 of the rarest weapons in the game AS50, FN FAL, but were pretty sure the hacker buried our bodies we're trying to make out way back to the crash site to see. But we were killed by a hacker who had god mode (I shot him once with AS50 and friend shot him 4 times with FN FAL) and a silenced LMG. If anyone is willing to give up a map or to take me/us to the place where we died it would be much appreciated.

I just got my game working and 20 minutes in I got shot by someone. I don't know how to typeinto chat and when I talk through my mic it is really quiet. Looking for 1 or 2 people to help me get going and learn the basic controls and after that just to play with. Steam a10thunderbolt709 OR PM me and ill add you

I just downloaded Arma II CO, and I'm having some troubles. Arma II works just fine but everytime I try to start up operation Arrowhead its gives me this message: No Entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow Then I click ok and it gives me this: Error Compiling Pixel Shader PSSpecularAlpha:0 Someone please help, I've already tried reinstalling it. I've also tried validating the game cache and running as an admin

I tried running steam as an admin after reinstalling it s 2nd time and got the same message I also tried validating the game cache and neither worked.

What is the problem though?

I recently posted on here about purchasing the game or not and I decided I was going to buy the game. After telling my friend this he said I shouldn't buy the game because it is extremely hard to install and you have to wait 20-30 min each time you sign on to start playing. I just wanted to know if the 20-30 min wait is just his connection/computer or if it is for all players, and I also wanted to know how hard it is to install. Hey Day Z forums, I made this account to ask this simple question. Should I buy Arma II CO and play Day Z as a mod or wait until it comes out as a full game? Either way I will get the game I just don't know if I want to wait however long it takes before the game comes out. (Has the release date been released?) Thanks, Thunderbolt

Thats what I was thinking was to buy it now and then get used to it considering Ive been a PC gamer for about 2 weeks now. I just don't know if people would help me though, not many people like noobs.
