I find myself enjoying Alphas and Eureka as far as the original series go. I don't have cable anymore though so I just watch the new episodes as they come to netflix.

Even with lasership I've never lost a package from Newegg and I usually get my things before the estimated time as well. Just like Applejaxc said, it was just some bad luck.

What are you putting your settings at?

I always love immersion in games, but this is taking it a little bit too far.

Thanks to the new degradation system you have a chance to break items that the person you shot is carrying (I know this is confirmed for clothing but not sure about things in pockets, backpacks, etc.). Also since things will be so rare I'm assuming guns and ammo will be more of a godsend and you'll be less willing to use it on someone unless you need to.

Explore the nice new areas and appreciate all the work that SenChi has done. While being beaten mercilessly by zombies of course.

I've been using the X79 Sabertooth for 7 months now and it's the nicest board I've ever had, if you are on a tighter budget I definitely don't recommend a Sabertooth. It's really nice for overclocking though and seems really durable. Keep in mind that I don't plan on building a new rig for at least 3 years or so, which was one of my key factors when deciding to get this one.

It may be something along the line of we 'will' release Rhinocrunch unless you give us standalone.

It will be released on steam Early Access just like Arma 3.

As long as I get a chance to enjoy looking at the improved map I'll be happy, everything else is a bonus. :)

I perfectly understand the implications of an alpha. I was just saying 'hope' because I hope that it will be ready in time. If not I'll deal with it, and still play the game as an alpha and submit bugs. Edit: Also the way you were using you made me feel a bit like you were personally attacking me not sure if that was the intention or not.

I really hope we have a basic melee system ready for alpha. If not it's going to make survival impossible for any real decent period of time, Unless you are really lucky and stumble upon a gun.

It seems nearly every time Dean makes an announcement the community misconstrues it. It's making a good chunk of the posts on these topics simply telling those people they are wrong only to be repeated constantly. I guess I'm just a little irritated, I may not post very often but I'm always reading these topics.

Maybe It would be a good idea just to add that to the topic post. So maybe we wont get someone every few hours saying "standalone is next week I'm so excited".
