Hackers would not "Quote Destroy your hard work" Possible but you are forgetting that these would be coded into the server the only way for it to get rid of your objects would be a total flush of the server eg deleting it ... Sure players can get into your base it's inevitable hence why you place your base not in the middle of Elektro... Bases would be very secluded like they are in real life in the military your not gonna put a base in the middle of a warzone..

- Greetings Survivors I'm [uRF]Karma I would like to suggest something for the future of Day Z I've played alot of Arma 2 OA multiplayer for me to understand that this suggestion I'm going to make is possible :)! (Yay) The customizeability of your camps or bases in day z, I'm going to set a table below showing what there should be in the game and what materials you would have to find to create it. Camouflage netting (Small) - Four Steel Rods Camouflage net - (Camouflage netting is basically covers the base from helo's Camouflage netting (Medium) Five steel rods Camouflage net Camouflage netting (Large) - Six Steel Rods Two Camouflage net [POSSIBLE] - (But Maybe?) Mounted Machine Guns - used by finding a Bag which contains a mounted machine gun. - you are able to set it down anywhere flat and not in the way of obsticles (Mounted machine guns are used like DayZ rocket launchers they replace your pack but when you put down the machine gun somewhere you are them able to use the machine gun and have a pack on your back. This will be used for large clans and the only way is to find a machine gun bag which will share the same spawn rate as NVG'S Svd Camo... Medical Deposit (They appear as a small shell made of metal and they are only small but can fit up to 8 players in the whole thing) - Requires Metal Sheets , Medical supply boxes (Which you wound find usually at hospitals) Small watch towers or posts to be added Larger sand back structures as seen in the picture I provided Perhaps more smaller buildings http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n125/Dr_Eyeball/Arma2/Misc/DynO_CityBase04.jpg what do you think leave a comment below
