Retarded thread. There should be high grade military weapons it the game, from basic M16's to advanced ACR's, from scoped hunting rifles to 50 cals, it is after all set in a zone with military bases. Also it is logical that heli crash sites provide these kind of weapons (transporting gone wrong and they crashed "in the zone") I am, however, all for the removal of L85 and against implementing thermals, because they are way unbalanced. High grade weapons with all sort of goodie attachments (scopes, silencers, cup holders FFS) - yea, but thermal scopes that lights up eveything that moves form Berezino to Electro - no.

Have SVD camo with 5 mags. Will trade it, but only for Mk 48 mod 0 with a few belts.

So what will stop you if the Hive gets deleted to dupe the new-found equipment again, and subsequently lose the fun in game once more?

The thing is, wiping the Hive will not help. Sadly duping will still be very much possible (as it is engine's fault), and scripters and cheaters will just spawn any equipment they want. So basically, the only ones who are losing with the hive wipe are legit players. I'm not against hive wipe, but I can't say I'm for it either.

I would like to thank Jrinree for the helicopter. He is an epic guy. Waited for me as I was running from Skalka to NE airfield, showed me the helicopter, kept an overwatch as I was refueling a couple of jerrycans. Words can't describe how awesome this man is :)

Not that it's nice to paint the whole nation, but sadly, Longs is right. DayZ, BF3, COD, you name the game, and you will struggle to find a legit Russian player, whether he is hacking, cheating, scripting or exploiting the game. Unfortunatelly, that is the truth. like it or not.

No they don't. Rocket has the last word, its his mod, his rules. You can get banned by an admin, but you can also report that admin/server and you should get unbaned.

Those server bans are against the rules set by Rocket, and player can report the server/admin and he will be unbanned. I don't have a problem with hacked weapons, I don't use them, but i really don't care if others are using them. As long as the player dont wipe out the whole server with one click, or doesn't call artillery strikes on towns, or teleports everyone on the server to mow them down with heavy machinegun. But if someone is using G36 SD or M4 ACOG M203 so what, its not a railgun, it does the same damage as other weapons. OK TWS is a bit more powerfull but the game has bigger issues to adress before stoping scripted weapons.

After 2 months of intensive DayZ play, I am still waiting to encounter a bandit that doesn't ALT-F4 (apart of those who get an AS50 NATO round to the face). So, there might be a fine line between being a bandit and being a dick, but the line ceases to exist because they are all cowards that start a fight and then run.

I've been playing there with my squad often, but now it's nowhere to be found. DayZ Commander cant find it, neither can the ingame server browser. The name NL112 doesn't exist anymore, I have been on that server yesterday and it was fine, today it's gone. Anyone have any idea what happend to the server?

Hi. I was wondering if there was any way to destroy/remove tents so they don't respawn after server restart. My squad and I made a little camp and as we were testing just to see if we were going to be able to pitch tents, we made a few on open ground and then went on to place them in a treeline. The problem is these "test" tents respawn after server restarts and its quite annoying since they are out in the open so people could stumble upon them and then see our tents with gear. Those test tents weren't even saved when we made them and still they reappear on server retarts. We tried to pack them, run them over with Ural but had no luck. Is there a way to remove them or do we have to move our camp in order to keep it safe?
