  1. Exactly! ...but only 'cuz we leave stuff there. Just want feedback! ;)
  2. Well i offer a lot of my time in favor of a easy startup for all our players, so i think they will respect my efforts. But after all at least one asshole is around in every place and will screw things up, so i dont count on finding that vehicle after relog at all, but i would be very happy if i do! ;) Nvm, i believe in karma, so what goes around, comes around. Keep that in mind, selfish a**hole buggers. B) EDIT: Well I would like to know if you people appreciate the existance of that camp and make use of it!? So if you just quote adding a "Yes" or "STFU" ?!?
  3. Refugee Camp: Hey Guys, if you find a white Gaz next to the Refugee Camp it would be nice to ignore it, cuz i need a vehicle to keep up resupplying the Camp. If you just need it, please return it after use or before you log out. Any gear found inside is free tho. :P After all its just a plea, as there are no rules bout taking whats left behind. Thanks for cooperating, Punch :)
  4. Refugee Camp: Due to some accident in setting up the Refugee Camp, the entrance is blocked by sandbags and barbed wire. Even if removed, they respawn at every server restart. <_< So i placed a tent filled up with toolboxes outside the entrance, thus allowing newly spawned players access to the camp. I dont mind if you take one of them for your own use, but it would be nice, if you put at least the last left over back to that tent. Thank you very much for cooperation. Signed, Quartermaster Punch
  5. No problem, I can understand that, but thats why I asked about a poll. If say 90% would appreciate it, it wouldn't be such a problem to new ppl to add this to their installation. Nevertheless, it was just a suggestion. Its still up to you, and if you decide against ill be fine with that! :)
  6. Hey Byrgesen, i would support you in a dry job like this, but we have to figure out how this could be done! B) Getting no answer on this question, I'll just getting it up again. :( Why do not set up a poll about this?
  7. Hey Byrgesen! I would highly appreciate adding another mod to the server setup. Please look up the link below and tell me what you think about it. B) http://www.armaholic...age.php?id=6019 Any comments, mates? ;)
  8. ... **hissing sound of air pulled through the teeth** <_< ... ... Also langsam...gaanz laangsaam, wenn auch nicht sofort, jedoch mit stetig zunehmender Wahrscheinlichkeit... :( ... PLATZT MIR DER ARSCH!! >:( Der Schellenbaum scheint reif zum Schütteln!! Nevermind.. Nevertheless, loyalty is my uppermost virtue and i feel deep respect for any good work done with abandon, so I am very grateful to be entitled to participate in this project. So i will still stick to you, bro, and if you need more support in any way just let me know. B) ;)
  9. UH YEAH!! I really appreciate this rule UPDATE! :beans: :beans: :beans: B)
  10. Events? Well, we could make use of the race tracks. Not a new idea, remembering those operation flashpoint days "race the island" events (only crappy Lada's available  ). Now we could use bicycles or atvs! :D Or what about the "best jump into desaster of the day" ??
  11. Translate English to Danish? Uh yeah, sounds weird and would really knock me out! Nah just take your time, schools first, and even if that delays servers 'ETR', youre just doing an awesome job! ^_^ THANKS so far! As far as youre concerned about how to read this, you probably should have enough of enthusiasm left to spent your brave little machine a dustoff?! ;D *trap* ^^
  12. Right. In my first "patch-attempt" i copied the 1.7.2.6 files also in the Lingor Addon folder. After that I wasn't able to find any Lingor-server. So there has to be a "1.7.2.6 Lingor version". But I don't think that's causing the connection problems. Yesterday evening it took me over an hour to connect after restart. And for no reason suddenly i got on, after trying and trying... -.- I never had trouble before that ddos weekend. Perhaps your ISP changed something in his setup due to protection issues. Btw, game said to me: "You successfully applied one scrap-metal to the house."
  13. I really like the invention of the PvP- and Neutral-Zone. Now every hobo has a place to be! :D
  14. Uuh yeah... indeed, mate, indeed... ... with one oar stuck in your ass, and the other slapping your face! :D Well at least these times make me feel still alive! B)
  15. Well starting out on friday that 500km tour with a truck only took me 11 hours due to a horrible car-crash causing an immense traffic-jam, on saturday job done in laughable 14 hours, today tour back running smooth but coming along the carcasses of 8 bunnies, 3 birds of prey, 2 foxes and 1 deer, which is quite a few. And i thought me, myself and I had a terrible WE ..... <_< Well... nvm, mates!!
  16. Well you have to take into account, that not everybody wearing a bandit skin has to be a bandit. Just thinking of a situation you have to fight of a bandit-attack on your lootspot/campsite. As it happens some days ago to the DNZ-guys at the prison, that bunch of bandits continued attacking after they respawned. As a matter of fact, killing a fresh respawned attacker will be counted against you as murder! Fighting off several waves like this, you will be honoured by achieving a bandit skin. <_<
  17. Bandits' Code of Conduct - Robbing A Bandit following the Code of Conduct should keep himself in bounds when robbing a Survivor. So dont strip the Survivor of all his belongins, just take what you need, e.g. food, ammo, missing tools, perhaps a better weapon. If food and water icon flashing red, a true Bandit would stop scavenging if a Survivor passes by, and rob some nourishment. But leave a can of both to him to play it fair. Acting fair like this has also a nice side-effect: A Survivor experiencing a fair played robbing would become more open to it, because cooperating with the Bandit and losing some loot would only be a small setback, instead of getting shot and starting over again. The Bandit also should take cooperation of the Survivor into account and reward this by selecting the needed items in moderation. DONT JUST GO FOR NVG!! ...as we all know stuff like this is hard to get. Only consequence would be one more pissed Survivor quits playing - one more source to rob from lost! On the other Hand, on a Survivor going for a gunfight and loosing it should be toughened up robbing him. E.g. before the Bandit got him to surrender by shooting/breaking his legs, he wounded the Bandit leaving him heavy bleeding, shaking and trembling down to 2000 blood. In this case the Bandit should get high value stuff to show him that cooperation would be far better. At least the Survivor came away with his life, and the Bandit gets some extra reward for the risk of falling unconscious at his retreat. It would be nice, if we could establish a fair behaviour on both sides, so gameplay would really more spiced. Well Avatar, i think if banditry is played in a Robin-Hood-Style, we can call this "friendly" also. B) (btw, i like your Atari "Adventure" Dragon ...just awesome! :D  ) As a consequence all "asshole-bandits" should be hunted down from all friendlies on the server at once!! Notes and comments on this topic are welcome and highly appreciated.
  18. Hey mates, according to some questions how to handle the banditry rule I will give some examples. But first of all you got to keep in mind, that banditry is allowed! This means, looking at the bandit himself, he wont accept any rules, because it ties to his nature. What we ask for is a certain code of conduct. In an engagement one-on-one, instead of just shooting the survivor to pieces, the bandit could sneak up and yell a command like "dont move or get shot" in direct chat. Then he gives orders to drop the weapon, sit down or to open inventory. So he can aquire items from the victims stuff quite safe. If the victim doesn't cooperate or runs away, he will be compelled to shoot. If the bandit decides to go against a looting-party of well equipped survivors, any warning would turn into a disadvantage, as odds are already against him. But instead of tossing grenades all over the place, a plain snipe, forcing the survivors to look for him, could do the job. Perhaps he manages to lure them out, sneaks in and, if they left a guard, catch him napping. Afterall its not possible to set strict rules, as situations will be different one from another. Survivors should think about what to do not to be caught sitting duck. And the bandit should take a leg- but head-shot into consideration. Have a nice day! :)
