well first mistake is to run towards them in the first place... and what adds up to it more is that they actually had a jeep. I would shot Frank to bits too.

Well they could implement the ace mod for wind. Though all the video game "snipers" would all of a sudden get very angry when they have to zero his weapon after mils and have a extra equipment for mesureing wind values, such as the kestrel 2000. Would also be funny if they would count in world rotation and what position you're in the world and what temprature is around you. I mean all the variables that goes into being a real sniper would be a fun thing to actually have in the game... sure it may be frustrating for the cod quickscoping elite super pro kids out there or whatever... but fun for us who know what they are doing, seeing them dance around like clueless circus monkeys. -
This was a crappy idea. It's a game based on survival and human nature.... perks shouldent be anyway near this game. If you like perks, go play cod.

WarZ is not being developed by the DayZ team. Also... WarZ is likely never coming out since it's all words and no action, it's a scam. your in the wrong forum and rather much wrong website.

And no it seems it runs on another type of hive, you character saves down from map to map on lingor island specificly. Enjoy :)

Lingor island is a map for DayZ that was developed without Rockets knowlage. It's a very good map, that doesnt have the graphical glitches.

I very much do experiance this. Lingor island...well no problems at all! But regular DayZ it happens as long as I come to stary balota airfield... cherno NW and such.... But a weird thing about all this.... it never happend in the previous versions of DayZ, all the other versions dident have it! Before I could easily go to balota and what not... But along the versions.... something.... just something went horribly wrong. And it seems as if when they try to fix this, they look at the wrong sorce. They never seem to find the real problem inbetween all this. So what I think is that the problem is in the version. I think they should look at the mod from its ground up and not on specifics. There is something they are missing.

And I'm the second guy. And 2 screenshots that was pretty close up together of his death showing that continuesly tried to spawn at us, will soon be uploaded. -
Okay the thing with thie SVD is that it has a built in, easy to understand rangefinder.... sure its a nice light sniper you can carry around and makes you hidden.... but only downsides is the lesser zoom and actually the incredibly rare ammo. Whilest the AS50 has an incredible DMG output from 37552 with m107 ammo and with AS50 ammo 174205! And with the AS50 you have 2 ammotypes to choose from. You can one hit disable cars helis.... well everything with the AS50... while even remaining awesome accuracy and low recoil. The SVD has an audioble range of 180 and the AS50 455. Effective range is 1200 on the SVD and 1600 on the AS50.... actually I think its not hard to choose. AS50.

I would most definantly want that, thinking that the "snipers" in the current dayZ would not be as powerful anymore since they would have to think before they actually fire the gun. And just imagine getting your hands on a VHF radio to reach out to all the other players around the map with the same radio. Well all of that would be so awesome! -
I agree with this dude at some points.... sure there are quite some absurd spawn probabilitys here. But one other thing I think is absurd that there is only 2 high yields which naturaly makes it a kill zone for a mare gamble of being the lucky winner of something that is likely not to spawn.

As many posts say... you really need to have a definsion of what PVP really is. Since a new spawn with a flashlight, painkiller and bandage is NOT PVP, thats just being the biggest dick of all time. He atleast needs a firearm.... but question is... when can you engage one of those persons. I think a person with a Makarov should only be engaged when they are pretty close up so they can actually do some damage with the thing, and not 400+ meters away with an AS50 or any sniper rifle at all for that matter... thats just completely dumb. A person with a winchester... well medium range.... and perhaps even enfield goes there too. Long range engagements should be military grade weapons... though you could actually class an enfield to this senario too since that thing got some range to it. Long range engagements should only and always be when the target is well armed and pose a major threat for you. Being a good bandit, that actually has the worth to be called a bandit... should always keep in mind on "what kind of player is this, could I gain something?" and not "a player, lets kill him". Any new spawn killing bandit is just throwing dirt on the entire aspect of being a bandit, and should be more considerd exploiters and cowards. There actually be some limits and rules that are kinda self explaining to some people, well it appears there is alot of stupid people out there. -

Well all of this just comes down also in what area you're in. For example if you're in electro or cherno.... people WILL see you as a threat. Since one single survivor will not want to take the chance of actually getting shot later on, so they eventually kill them before hand. Or they dont want to share good loot that is in the city and actually have a feeling of loss if they see you next time with a newly obtained ghillie suit. So going into those citys... well there is nothing called friendly there, since every survivor in there is full of greed to obtain everything thats good and desperation to survive. Sadly, welcome to DayZ of today.

Hallo there everyone! Well today I've found myself my very first heli crash site, but I couldent help to notice..... how many FN FAL's there was on the ground. As I recall it it was 4-5 of em with ammo, 2 M14 aim and a tiny bit of medical supplies, nothing else spawned there except for that. I can even recall that on youtube videos with people... the drop seems to be pretty onesided when you do find one, that if one perticular item drops there will be 4 more to go. I saw one guy on youtube that found NV googles, in the end he ended up with a total of 3-4 NV googles from the same crash site... and thats all they found... and medical supplies. So I'm thinking that the crash site chooses 2-3 drops for itself and makes them into large quanititys. Maybe the "random" crash sites aint so random afterall.

Well hallo there everyone! I was playing DayZ this morning, when I stumbled upon something unuseual. I was going to the fire station north of electro in the hopes to find something useful, when all of sudden I guy runs up the staircase. It appeard after I killed the dude in pure panic with a well placed shot to the forhead with my double-barrel, this was something I havent seen in a while, the bandit skin. Though this bandit skin did not exactly look like the previous one, it only had the bandana over the head. So the question is if the bandit skin has made its comeback or if that was just a hacker? (scriter) Sorry I have no screens of the guy but this will do. So whats your thoughts?
