The group of guys i play with do 3 things, 1. Have the same face skin 2. Lean left/right quickly 3. Speak on ts to double check. -

Id of chosen the m107 aswell, infact id if chosen anything with ammo. Lol I prefer the lee enfield as my primary and then not bothered about secondary.. Just means i have less to refind when hack killed. -
Not found rocket launcher but found everything else be it from a person or spawn location.

I get awful tearing aswell when i run without vsync, sometimes i dont notice sometimes its really bad. I usually have it off to measure the fps as im constantly trying to get better performance in cities but if it gets annoying i will turn vsync on. Im going to try setting cpu priority to high to see if i gain anything there. I might try overclock the cpu more as its running at 60C after an hour of prime95 so i recon i could get 3.8ghz with relative safety. Also possibly overclock the gpu as when i play the cards only get to 55C-60C after about an hour of playing. -

Interesting.. I have half the pc you have I7-920 @ 3.3ghz 6gb ddr3 9-9-9-24 ram Nvidia 460 cyclone 1gb sli (900mhz from 725mhz) 7200rpm hard disk. Installed through steam on my d:\ (c is too small to hold steam lol) After an hour of playing i get 150-180fps if i look up (a boost of 100% since overclocking the gpu) I get 80-90 in forests (boost of about 50%) I get drops low as 30fps in cities (boost of 25%) Id love to try some of your fixes to up my in city experience. Edit My settings are all on high no post pross tho. -
Are heli crashsites completely random

I think the number is more than 3 id say randomly between 5-10 crash sites per server. -
Debug monitor will be gone in 1.7.3 !

I actually dont see what the problem is.. I dont need to know any of the information on the debug monitor because lets face it.. 9k blood or 12k blood if someone sees you first your the one likely to come off dead.. But just incase it doesnt play out like that, whats the problem with just getting someone to give you a blood transfusion every other hour or something?? I dont need a number to tell me when im low on blood i can see from the saturarion in the screen when i have less than 12k blood, all those of you who cant obviously dont pay enough attention to the colours. Infact all those moaning about wanting the debug monitor to stay are obviously the softer generation of players who cant deal without their hand being held through games. As for the temperature monitor, ive never once needed it. if you payed attention when it was on you would of noticed that if you stay active and run you wont get cold abd it very rarely dropped that much anyway.. What i do now is just use one as soon as i find one as they are plentiful and i dont want to be carrying one around with me using up my space. Seriously tho.. Why cant you just try it before thinking you all know best?? -

The speed of sound is 340m/s so any bullet traveling faster than that should make a crack sound. How many of the weapons in the game fire at less than that? (genuine question) Ive just had a look at a couple and i found this Muzzle velocity (fastest the bullet will be) M1911 = 251m/s Mp5SD = 285 m/s Makarov = 315 m/s Mp5 = 400 m/s Enfield = 744 m/s All those lower than 340 m/s should not crack. -
Rocket just needs to add a spawn out or log out timer when you abort. Like in diablo 3, you have to make sure your safe and it takes 10seconds. The other issue is hackers.. Me and two buddies were attacked by a hacker (i emptied a full clip into his face and didnt die) so i logged out. Why should i loose all my stuff because of a hacker! If i smell anything fishy i will just log out. But dont get me wrong.. I wont log out if its a fair fight and there is no sign of malicious behavior.

can someone quickly explain the deal with the ARMA 2 beta version numbers and how it effects servers i want to join. My version Arma - 1.62.95883 DayZ - 1.7.2.4 what i have noticed so far is that when i join a server which isn't a 95883 or 95885 it takes FOREVER! to join a server. i notice on the server list through Dayzcommader 48% of servers are running 95885 so i didnt want to upgrade to the latest 96061/63 version if i cant join older version servers. cheers.
