I agree with the being able to see your character. It's nice to be able to look at everything he has, gun, backpack, and if your a hero all the extra things. DayZ has changed a lot since it first came out. What was once a real goal to survive from zombies and the occasional player, has turned into a large scale PVP battle. It sucks imo because the consept of what DayZ is, is amazing! But you have all those 12 year old kids who think their so boss with their hacked in AS50, ghillie suit, nvgs, etc. and just shoot bambis in Elektro. Half the time the kids can't hit worth a crap but still is scary to have a .50 cal bullet go by. But on the topic of third person. I don't really have an opinion on it. If it stays I'm just as fine with it as if it was removed.

I think you will. Either way don't install hacks. It's extremely stupid to and can really screw you over in the long run.

I highly doubt you were banned for no reason. The odds of you being banned for no reason are near impossible. I'm fairly certain it's not even possible to get banned for no reason anymore.

So you've spent roughly $100-$130 on Arma 2? The only way you could be repeatedly banned is if you kept downloading hacks, you have a program that is stealing your keys, or you're ip is banned.

I don't normally trust people at NWA. If I run into someone there by surprise, I will shoot them.

The only people I enjoy killing are bandits. When it comes to other survivors, I'll rob them once in a blue moon (I'm probably the only Hero that does that :P). I only kill a survivor when he won't respond to me and serves a threat.

It's been said countless times that the DayZ team will NOT punish certain play styles. I'll go easy on you considering you're fairly new to the forums but considering how often threads about punishing play styles pop up, it kind of gets annoying. Some ideas are interesting but should not be in the game. DayZ is about immersion and feeling like you're actually in the situation. Let your real mind play tricks on you, make you hear things, and feel emotional about something. Not your igc.

Honestly most firefights I get in show how terrible people are at shooting. The only thing people I get shot at by are able to aim with is an AS50. Everytime it's a normal firefight, I win 99% of the time. In fact I think the last time I lost in a firefight was when I first started playing Arma and DayZ. Trust me playing normal Arma 2 OA and shooting at targets 200-400 meters away really helps you learn to aim. Most players and bandits seem to have the accuracy of an imperial stormtrooper.

Pretty much what Bludy said. Sometimes you won't even notice how bad you're lagging.

Well you wouldn't know that in reality if you found a dead body and so if you were to add statics to a body in the way your suggesting, it would take away from the realism. It would be neat to find statics about someone but not from the means of checking their body.
