I haven't played on Balota Buddies in several weeks (Been trying out the bandit lifestyle on public hives) but I can vouche that it is probably one of the best DayZ communities you can join. Awesome admins, tons of servers, and a great community. If you're looking for a good private hive to join, look no further then BB. Wish my ping wasn't so damn high though for all the populated BB servers otherwise I'd be trying out the bandit life style on there instead. -
So I was rolling with some guys on the Private Hive I play on and one of our guys found Toilet Paper. What is the purpose of it? Sorry if this question has already been asked but I couldn't find anything on it.

Don't buy keys from someone. They are scamming you and many others out of money. I once got in an argument with someone who sells keys and he claimed to be making a couple hundred dollars from it a week. They are scam artist and I think it might be illegal but I'm not sure about that.

This guy selling CD Keys is why your CD keys are being banned. Who ever is selling the keys is selling it to more people than just you. And if you have bought Arma 2 OA again then it is possible that what ever stole your key in the first place is still hidden in your computer continuing to still your keys.

I think one of the reasons "proper" banditry isn't seen much anymore is because of the KOS mind set 99% of people have. I started playing as a Bandit this month on public Hives after playing a Hero/Survival Role since late July, early August of last year. I've enjoyed it so far but the problem I've had is that I can never do this "proper" banditry you're talking about. If I sneak up on someone and tell them not to move or to drop their gun, they whip around and shoot at me. Because of this I can only really KOS. -

As many have suggested, if you want pure PVP and nothing else then Wasteland is probably your best bet. If you're like me and enjoy the PVP a lot but also enjoy the zombies and other aspects DayZ has, then I suggest Namalsk. I quite enjoy it for all the survival and PVP it has to offer. It's not to large but not extremely small like Utes. -

I remember my first car. It was a UAZ too. Some bandits were trying to run me over and I started shooting at them with my makarov. The driver jumped out and I ran into the driver seat and started to drive away. I got stuck on an obstacle and his friend jumped out of the car and shot at me, completely missed and I drove away. It was epic. -

For me, playing this game since late July, early August of last year, the thrill of normal survival and being a Hero has worn off. Player killing is the only thing that really gives me a thrill anymore. I like to play as a bandit. Though I don't shoot every on site, most I do. For me the newest update adds some really great things, but the zombies have only become more of an annoyance.

It's an interesting enough idea. Some parkour style stuff would be cool to see in DayZ but nothing on the level of assassin creed's.

I have my own code of conducts when it comes to being a bandit. Shooting an unarmed player is generally a dick move to me. Unless it's a rival or someone I know will kill me given the chance, I don't shoot them. -
Any tips on how to keep a helcopter?

One option is to land it on top of a building in a town no one goes to. There is an industrial to the west of Zelenogorsk that you could land the chopper on. Of course someone could always blow it up but not everyone wants to waist the ammo, and some actually want to try and get the chopper. Someone on a private hive I play on did that and there chopper has been untouched for weeks. The only problem of course is that if you somehow die you aren't able to get to your chopper. But it makes for a great place to log off on and keep your chopper safe. -
Really great server. Been playing on this server for several weeks now. Great community and a ton of awesome people. Haven't seen a hacker on there and awesome admins. Come join, you won't regret it.

The reason your thread was locked was because there is already a thread going that you can post on asking people if your Laptop can run the game. That way there aren't a thousand threads like these.
