I don't understand what was going on, but I do know you camped in the same fucking spot for 20 damn minutes.

When you first join the server it tells you how long you have been alive. Also, if you click insert on your keyboard, it will pull up your debug monitor which will also tell you how long you've been alive.

Then you get shot by Rocket IRL! ULTRA REALISM EXTREME HARDCORE!

Well if you can't get in contact with the admins there is pretty much no chance of getting un banned. You could have a friend get on the server and ask for you to be unbanned.

You're going to want to completely wipe all Arma 2 files off your CP first. Make sure what ever stole your key in the first place is gone too. Then you'll want to purchase a new copy of Arma 2 Combined Operations. Install the game and run Steam as administrator. I believe you might need to delete your previous Regedit but I can't remember for sure.

Damn you nailed it. Take all my beans, sir! Ever since I've begun lone wolfing, sniping has been one of my only ways of survival. It's generally suicide to get within 100-300 meters to take several guys on with an AR. It is possible and there are those who can do it, but when you are by yourself, sniping can be much more effective and safe. I've begun using guerrilla warfare tactics in the last month, and sniping is the most effective means for me. I enjoy sneaking around from bush, to tree, to shrub, to building, watching my prey and waiting for that one shot. It is much more enjoyable to me than going in with an AR and lighting some bastards up. Sniping, as stated by codave, is capable of causing psychological effects. There is nothing more scary than one of your squad members getting picked off with one shot by a guy several hundred meters away. It is effective, and being a lonewolf, keeps me alive.

I wish I could get that smooth of a frame rate <_<

I would love to have something that was meant to knock someone out instead of killing them. It's too damn hard to try and knock someone out by shooting them and not killing them. I would much prefer knocking people out, making them hand over gear, give information, or just hold them hostage, over killing them.

It looks like the "Rake" which is a humanoid type creature. Here is a pic, I have never seen anything or heard anything creepy like this in DayZ before. Although I don't play on that many servers which actually offer night. The photos looked photoshopped but were creepy none the less. I still think it would be cool for the DayZ dev team to add some paranormal easter egg creature.

There is a secret gun you can get with the mountain dew. You must get 1,000 zombie kills, 20 murders, 10 bandit kills, and have one can of mountain dew. You must go the NWA and camp in the middle of it for 2 hours. After camping for EXACTLY 2 hours (It can't be a second later) you must scream over direct chat, ALMIGHTY MOUNTAIN DEW! GRANT UPON ME YOUR POWERS AND SHOW MY TESTICLES THE WAY! After doing that Rocket will come from the sky in a majestic way as the clouds part and light shines upon you. All players will be teleported to you. They will be without weapons and exalting you. Rocket will hand you a silenced RPG that shoots rockets like a machine gun. You will be allowed to kill everyone and fly around on a majestic pony. If you fail to do this Rocket will kick you into DayZ hell where you will be chased for eternity by fire breathing zombies. Do your best to follow some type of road. When I first began DayZ I went north and ended up in the debug fields to the west. Not following a road was my biggest mistake.

I'm pretty sure the camp location at Topiloca Dam has been known about for a while. I check it everytime I go by. Once found 6 ghillie suits in a tent there.
