You know you are stupid when you drive someone into electro with your bus and get iced by a certain individual with an AK as you turn around a corner. Not that, that ever happened to me....

The sound quality and mic quality are really good and I suggest it if you don't have much cash to spend.

If they were to force shadows then I would hope they would have something that could check your PC rig, ingame and if you're specs are really low, then shadows can be off. If I could I would play on very high settings but I'm forced to play on the lowest of lowest settings with shadows off if I want to get 20-30 fps. Shadows take up a huge part of my fps and if they were forced on I would be looking at a big fps drop.

Because according to a certain individual, they were stupid. All though that statement is pretty stupid itself. There was nothing stupid about it. Some people just seem to get a little to butthurt when things are added that they don't like.

There was extra food and drinks added a few updates ago. However a lot of people complained and they ended up removing most of them.

My friend almost got killed by a spooked horse. He was riding a horse at some ranch, and as was riding by a blind horse. The blind horse got spooked somehow by the horse my friend was on and started freaking out. My friend jumped off the horse right before the blind one beat the hell out of the horse he was on. It was kicking and stopping and going absolutely crazy. Judging by where the horse kicked it's back legs first, had my friend not jumped off the horse, the blind horse would of kicked him right in the head.

I'm not sure but they showed off the jumping animation in one of the recent SA videos. I would link the video but I don't remember which one it is.

And this is one of the things that makes DayZ so amazing. I've made some really good friends in DayZ and met a lot of people. No other game can compare to it and I think that's one of the big reasons I love DayZ so much.

Thankfully SA will actually have a jump animation.

The problem is that the amount of people who would have them in an actual apocalypse would be very, very, very, small. Like maybe 1 guy in a hundred million people would have it. It just doesn't seem like something fit for DayZ.

Nah, man, it was the regular military one. Sounds like you just have some bad luck.

I think a better idea is if they could somehow incorporate vital organs and arteries. For instance if you got shot in the heart or head, it would be an instant death. If you get hit in an artery, you would have to stop the bleeding and it would require proper medical attention to really stop it.

Actually it really isn't that hard to take down a heli if you know what you're doing. Any chance that guy in the Mi17 was hacking? Because I myself have been hit by bullets while in the cockpit of an Mi17.

To a certain level of degree I still play vanilla dayz but there are still a lot of differences. The server I play on has a few extra weapons added to it, some extra buildings and plugins, and bambis spawn with revolvers like they did when DayZ first came out. I've tried playing some of the other DayZ mods like Origins and Breaking Point but something just doesn't feel right about them. Namalsk is the only other DayZ map that I've played a lot on and I think the reason why, is because of how hard it is to survive on it. I know a lot of people though who have grown bored of vanilla DayZ and moved on to other DayZ mods. To be honest, I can't blame them. The vanilla mod only offers so much stuff. As discussed way to much, once you get basic gear, a camp, vehicles, and maybe a chopper, there is nothing left to do unless you like to KoS. Mods of DayZ seem to give players more to do than what vanilla has to offer and I think that is why many players have moved over to these mods.

Unfortunately too many admins are like that. The best thing you can do is to go find a new panthera server. I'm sure there are a good amount to choose from.
