Actually, they are planning to add common household weapons in the Standalone and they only have control over Chernarus because the other maps are kinda made by the community.

I don't care if DayZ will slip into 2013 as long as Rocket gave us what he promised to be in the foundation release, I have time to spare. Go Rocket! Focus on the game and not on the money you will gain by releasing this earlier than a rip-off zombie game!

Don't worry, the standalone will be properly optimized as to not experience things such as lagging while in a city. Don't worry, that build can run standalone. :)

No. Rocket would definitely agree with me here. If people can't take hiking over great distances just to see a friend, they can go to other MMO zombie games they like. Rocket doesn't want people to survive that easy in DayZ and please tell those people that keeps on complaining that one of DayZ's main requirement is balls, balls to keep on going even if the odds are against you.

Every bandit started from being innocent survivor themselves but once they discovered how powerful their advantage is against other survivors, they start using these means to kill other survivors even if they're not fired upon. Just sayin'. I don't know how long I will be able to hold my honor once the SA comes out.

No sir and there won't probably be any. One of DayZ's main element is the players itself, without us, you wouldn't have to worry about your gear being snatched or you being killed for whilst you can just hide in a bush if being chased by zombies.

Sorry sir but we don't have any exact date yet. If the game is still not released on December, something went terribly wrong but I'm sure Rocket have it under control. Sorry if you're disappointed by the lack of information but the game is worth the wait.

Well, you could say that but I can play on 40 fps which is I think, playable enough. If I love it and I can play it, I would definitely get it.

This actually made me quite happy.... I can run Arma II on High with a Dual Core PC, no framerate lag. :D

So, umm, once the SA comes out, what would you immediately do after logging-in like test new features and exploring the maps 'cause I for one would, 1. Scavenge for food and a sniper rifle and would try to stay in a forested area and act like it's my property. 2. Get a mountain dew and hurry off to Green Mountain. 3. Get a plane. All of the above are my goals for now but what's yours?
