  1. Ah, another goon bandwagon trying to justify their cheating/exploiting and avoid punishment. Too bad this isn't EVE-Online, where you can get away with bullshit.

We've done extensive testing at work for a very long time regarding high-performance applications in VMware, and while it's gotten alot better over the years there's still quite a bit of performance loss. I'm not saying VMware will create instability, i'm saying you're trowing away anything from 10-30% in performance...
  3. Also having the issue with the hive... Edit: Figured it out! In your startup command line, make sure it says "@JayArma2Lib_new" and NOT "@JayArma2LibDayZ_new"
  4. Just move them to WAN and firewall everything but the ArmA2 ports. In fact, why are you even trying to run this shit on VMware? It's bound to create performance issues, and it's not like the ArmA2 dedicated server does not have enough of those...

    Server hopping

    It's one of the major reasons i'm behind a centralised database, because it's very, very abused right now. Both for loot farming and "tactical" movements. (Switch server to move behind a shooter...) I'd suggest creating "spawn" points all over the map, and just dumping people who log in at a spawn point near where they logged out, where there are no people. If that's too complicated, just warn everyone within 250m if someone is logging in close by. This should discourage logging out in barracks or other "populated" areas...
