  1. Sorry to say but I disagree, game-play vs realism is the case at hand and at end of the day game-play will win. To only need to eat twice or three times a day would steal away from us another reason to run around risking our lives every few hours, right now what this mod needs is MORE reasons and incentive to go looting and more things to do, cause otherwise what is there?

    Starter pistol change to beretta

true it takes more shots to make a kill, but you get a torch, and 17 round mag, 2 shots a zombie it's still more efficient then a revolver, and if headshots it has more potential, and has smaller aggro range I assume.

    Starter pistol change to beretta

A 9mm wouldn't be so bad, it's probably quieter then the revolver so less aggro range, pop a couple in a zombies chest I'm sure it'll go down, plus each clip is what 15 rounds? 15 head-shots instead of six. It also means new players are less a threat to those better geared. Even if a 9mm does NOT replace the starter gun, it should be the most common weapon and ammo available should it not? not like the current pistols which are on par in finding difficulty to Alice back packs. Not to mention you can have a laser sight and flash light variation without needing a different clip type.

    Zombie Behaviour

Yes but this shouldn't be the only available option, myself I've tried this and somehow they end up going faster then I do up the hill.

    Zombie respawn rate

I whole heartedly agree that the zombie spawn rate is set too high, I've had it occur to me that I'll have cleared a small village, about to pop the last one then all a sudden I'm surrounded again as if I've done nothing. Perhaps at the very least a 15 minute gap? so you can get in clean house, loot, and get out? and not long after if someone wanders by they get to do the same.

    Introduce yourselves

Sgt.Snug from EU1 (EU2 if it's down). I like to group up and fulfil a support role, be it carrying the torch, navigation, scavenging, thou more often then not I find myself alone, soon after I have all the best gear n items then usually I get clobbered to death by one lucky zombie who gets a 1 hit KO. I'd like to think I'm a good shot, not big on killing other players but shoot me and you WILL go down, I usually offer a hand wherever possible as-long as your friendly. I can see myself playing this for a while, depends how rapidly it adjusts and develops, few bugs, few issues that need a fix, mainly a method of fighting/escaping zombies without a weapon, addition of acre and a TS server or a few, more weapons with shared ammo types - 9mm, NATO etc... making power stations accept full jerry cans to power up the grid at night, zombie hordes wandering wilderness, more animals, and honestly more vehicles.

    Zombie Behaviour

Problem is, if you have no ammo, and say in a country village, there is no escape, they can run faster then you, fences n other obstacles don't slow them down, they don't seem to struggle when running uphill quite as easily as we do, what option is there for someone without means to kill or distract their pursuers? I know it's their own fault engaging enemies or not being cautious enough to not be seen but it's kind of unfair to offer no escape. Aside what I've suggest above there's no real alternative other then slowing the zombies run speed which I wouldn't mind either, or making them clumsy and prone to tripping over.

    stuck on loading

I'm having this issue as well, and it's infuriating, I tried Griff fix but it only worked the first time I tried it, what bothers me most is you cant even tap esc and go back it completely locks the game up with a fully loaded bar with 'loading' under it.

    Wish List

I'm not sure what game you're playing but I don't think it's DayZ. a working cock machine would be realistic right? I think you mean COKE x3 If you'll google 'cock' I think you'll find out why we think what you said is funny. Also no, the power grid is down. If they added generators that power the local power grid like I've suggested in thread 'let there be light' then sure why not. Perhaps you could just loot the machine anyway not like in post apocalypse you'd be scared the police will get you for vandalism.

free range zombies and more wildlife

I wholeheartedly agree we need MORE zombies outside of towns, just random stragglers to make endeavours into woods not quite so safe, but why stop there? why not introduce...the horde a random group of zombies that wander together across the map, just like what we see in walking dead thou perhaps not quite that big.

    Let there be light!

As I found myself logging into the pitch black of night with naught but a chem-light and trusty crossbow I found that there isn't much chance to do little more then huddle inside or sneak around with a meter or two of sight. I'm not complaining oh most assuredly not it's an exhilarating petrifying experience hearing groans in all directions and by time you see a zombie he likely see's you. But it did make me think, and wonder wouldn't it be nice if we had the option, the chance to turn on the street lights, yes I know the power-grid would be down, but what about small generators? I've seen jerry cans so why not put in each little town and village generators you can fuel up with a jerry can then turn on and off to turn on all the lights in the area for a set amount of hours? If it's already a feature, my bad I can't find a list of all in-game features available aside the 'about' page.

    Starter pistol change to beretta

I'm at an agreement, 9mm pistols do seem more suited for a basic gun, and in reality are more common place then a .45 revolver. Whilst they are weaker they have larger mags, and add a difficulty curve that makes players NEED to aim and find a stronger weapon, not to mention less a threat to players as a insta 1-shot danger to the nearest player who's taken time to gather items.
