  1. I love throwing flares at people who wear NVGs at night, then unloading on them when they take off the NVGS and experience further blindness, works best on squads :P

    A Brief Elektro Killing Spree

    Yeah that's what people don't see to get, Corac. If I had said hello and been nice to these same people, I would have been gunned down in cold blood. Elektro is a kill-or-be-killed environment, that and I wanted that guy's DMR, I had loaned mine to a friend and logged off, I was going to go sniping in Cherno and when I went to get my DMR out I remembered I didn't have it anymore. Almost got me killed, silly memory. But yes, I also just kill people to kill people. It's how I want to be in the game, I have weapons, and they have something I want 50% of the time, the other 50% they're just competition when it comes to already scarce resources. Better to thin out the opposition than to try and befriend them, seeing as they're thinking the same things I am 90% of the time. I've only ever met one nice person that helped me in DayZ, and that was a hacker. I'm not counting clans or friends you log in with, but a random stranger you meet walking down the road. To be honest, I don't really like counting the hacker as a "survivor" either.

    A Brief Elektro Killing Spree

    Title of the section is "Bandit Campfire" go back to your cozy tent cities in the far North. Thanks!
  4. So today I logged in on DayZCommander and hopped on a mid-pop server to do some hunting. I had logged out near Elektro before and spent a good twenty minutes scanning the hills for any snipers before I went into town. Upon entering town I had previously taken note of zeds spawned 600+ metres away from me, so I had a heightened sense of awareness. I made my way through town quickly, checking a bar or two and holding up in the office building for ten minutes. I waited calmly, taking note of other signs of recent looting, no loot being one of those. A dead body greeted me outside the door to the first balcony facing the hills, but I knew it was not recent. I sat there for another five minutes or so and listened to a player running around in the building, but he never came in; so I moved to the balcony of the office building which faced the supermarket and the bar, and surprises greeted me. I immediately heard some AK fire in the supermarket and snapped my attention towards it, inside I watched what I thought to be one man looting the store, but then a second survivor showed up! The two weren't shooting at one another, so I knew they were in a group. I watched them for a few minutes before I realised they weren't going anywhere, and so I threw a grenade (I had like 3 of these damn things) at the supermarket. The grenade landed neatly in front of the door and exploded, unfortunately not harming a soul, but thankfully luring the late visitor to the front door. He was in the Hero skin, a DMR holstered at his back, and an M1911 in his hands, so I watched him walk clear of the doors and cross the street, blissfully unaware of the Bandit running in the bar behind him, this man was another new arrival, and not one of their group (He was unarmed though, whoo!). Now began the fun, I watched this Hero go to throw a grenade or flare or something, and decided "NO, NOT IN MY HOUSE!", and I promptly crouched behind the balcony wall and emptied about five shots into him. He dropped and started crawling, no longer on the offensive. So I turned my attention to the Bandit that had arrived and emptied two shots into his head through the window of the bar; No one takes my prey. I swiveled back around and emptied five more shots into the Hero, killing him. Now things slowed down. The third man who I first saw was cowering in the supermarket now, and he wasn't intent on leaving there without persuasion. I threw another grenade at the market, it almost landed in the door, but it landed on the roof instead (Note: I should learn how to properly throw these things.). That having failed I resorted to taunting him over Direct Chat, which worked! He feigned running out the back door and snapped back towards the front, sprinting across the street in my open field of fire. I punished his silly mistake by emptying ten more rounds into him. I still had eight rounds left as I ran into the street to claim my rewards, and I gunned down three remaining zombies. I looted the Hero for his DMR and its mags, then I hid his body. I looted the survivor for his food and some AK mags, and then hid his body as well. The Bandit had logged out when I killed him, which is the only explanation I can give as to why his body vanished. All-in-all it was a good hunt today, and perhaps my first, three, planned kills as a Bandit.Happy Hunting everyone. -Vladimir Nerrack

    Chernarus Quarantine Force {CQF}

    I'm confused, your heading picture says you must be at least 16, and then the requirements say to be at least 17. Which is it?
